very lucky you decided not to hit the accelerator and pass the truck. Despite what the guy before me said, I thought your reaction time was good. The driver hit the brakes even before the truck went across the median and then quickly swerved into the far right lane (once again, lucky no one was there)

This is why you always look several vehicles ahead of you. There was about 2 seconds delay in reacting to the danger and he ended up so close to the accident you can see the debris hitting his windshield. Watch the clip again and look for the truck first starting to skid versus when the car driver moves to the right. A close call and talking on a cell phone while driving uses up those precious seconds of reaction time.
