Veho Muvi Micro DV Camcorder First Ride Out

I got the same problem with my Muvi - the picture kinda floats. It's fine if the camera is still, but if i fix it to the car and film while driving, picture just starts floating. Shit...

@kristijanadrian Well for a start it reminds me of the ride. Secondly it gives other people the chance to see the footage the camera is able to take. Some people video their ride in case an accident happens then they will have evidence for the insurance companies. I just video stuff to remind me of trips and to share with anyone that is interested.

@clarkeovision totaly agree. I watch V-loggers like yourself. Love the videos people do. Most of them use the really expensive cameras but this one is fantastic for the price. Im doing my CBT next Friday ( renewing it ) so im going to buy one of these now and video my test. Cant wait

@JcV6BIGG12345 It is not waterproof but you can buy a waterproof housing I think. Would be fine if you didn't get it wet. Not sure how long it will last in cold weather though.

I'm thinking about getting one of these - does it charge with a micro USB connection? What is the battery life like?

@wannabemedic Yes it charges with a micro USB connection - a lead and adapter are supplied. The battery life is quoted at about an hour of continuous use . I only have a 2gb micro sd card which records 1 hour of footage and runs out before the battery. I suspect the battery life is better than quoted.

Good camera demo. Shame you don't use the audio from the footage, it would have been interesting to hear how clear it is. It's shame people just overdub with music, especially tunes that are a bit 'heavy'! :-)

@matd27 The audio is pretty rubbish. Lots of wind noise. Even when not moving audio is not very clear - hence the dub.

Downloaded via the lead to my mac (was easy but took a while to copy across) edited in imovie and uploaded through that. Very easy!

Hi any chance you could do a video showing how you attach the veho to your crash hat.

As i got one of these for crimbo, and have been messing around with it but am still not confident enough to bother biking with it. But yours looks really secure in the movie.
