I hate it when people say she was "made like that for a reason." What if YOUR baby turned out like that? Medically this is considered a defect. Just imagine if all humans were born like this... this defect is something we definitely don't need. I bet you're the types who think children born without faces or with mental disorders were born for a "reason." Oh please. I'd love to see your kids born that way.

however, it is said in the video that if she had been left in that state, she would have died with kidney failure. i agree that the innocent beauty of a child is priceless, but don't you agree that health surpasses everything? what waste would it be if she died at an infant age when she could live a long life with today's intelligence? she would remain as much as beautiful, if not become more, while having a life.

@sk8r0gurl It has nothing to do with being different, it has to do with her health and well-being. If you had a medical condition that caused you problems and that would kill you in a few years and it could be fixed - would you say to the doctor " No, I don't want to be changed. I'm different!" ??? I am so glad this baby went through surgery and can walk again. And I'm sure when she is older she will be happy too. Why would anybody want to be disabled when they don't have to be ??
