Haha very interesting, yeah in the US we have the same view, motels are usually pretty run down, they are essentially just crappy hotels. I don't think we have anything like this though in the US. Maybe in Vegas. :D
@timtak1 - Every town? Wow, they must be very popular. I suppose I personally don't see the advantage of going to a place like this when you have your own house. But as you said in the video perhaps young couples are the main demographic.
@dotsona07 Given that many families live in very small apartments which may not have much sound proofing, a major advantage of love hotels is a chance for parents to have sex without worrying about getting caught by the kids.

These are in every town. Sometimes there is an area of town that is full of love hotels.
