I love this song. Makes me cry all the time everytime I listen to it. I can't imagine someone trying to strip away my pride. We have a country to call our own and evil people we call neighbors plot and plan to make khmer people distinct since 1863. Doesn't khmer people realize that? There is a reason why God said, "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR..." meaning, love your enemy first.

I'm sorry, I needed to rephrase that, but there is an old saying, you love your enemies first so you'll know what they have up thier sleeves and there is a reason why God said, "love thy neighbor..." and that's the reason why. You're right, as an individual, you're suppose to love yourself first. Our land gets smaller and smaller because as true khmer, we are kind hearted souls. WE have no intentions to hurt anybody but to live life.

Knowledge is power so expand your mind to learning about the history of our Khmer culture. I go on Youtube to look up documentaries to learn the truth.
