They pick some of the most underrated titles to perform, but with damn good reason. Headhunter, Beyond Good and Evil, Advent Rising...they all have fantastic soundtracks.
I love Richard Jacques. I admit I've never played the game, but I absolutely love the soundtrack. Most especially "Jack's Theme" (which is what this was). Wish I was there, darn it. Thanks for posting this.
The first game was fun play on Dreamcast, the PS2 version wasn't as great, though they did fix the bugs, I would only recommend it if you don't have or can't find the DC version. I would have loved a proper sequel, it's too bad Redemption sucked in both Gameplay and Story...Still, I loved both soundtracks that I actually bought it when it first came out(even got an autographed booklet for pre-ordering).
I had 3 friends of Richard Jakes behind me in the audience, they went nuts when this came on! Strange thing was they were all aged between 40 and 50 and all of them spoke openly of not playing games! Good soundtrack too! :)
I've got to admit, I'd HEARD of Headhunter beforehand, but I'd never played it, dismissing it as yet another "Angry Guy With A Gun" game, but the music was genuinely excellent.
YEEEAAHHH !!!!! COOL!

the first headhunter actually has a really good story... and the soundtrack is awesome in the game... nothing is lost from the orchestra...

The music was excellent, but having watched the video itself it didn't make me want to play the game.
I think the transition from live symphonic orchestra to home machine would lose some of the impact. >_o
