Really nice concept, cool design too. I also have a concpet and I really wanted to kind of make a demo of it, so I wanted to know what program did you use to make this. I would really appreciate if you gave me a hint :)
@Hildron101010, from 0:00 to 0:45 there was a song playing that I actually really liked. Can I use it and where can I download it? I will give you full credit.
lol want me to make you an OS? it's text based, but it sure works great. It will be done in COSMOS if it has C++ support. I already coded it but i'm waiting until I find out if COSMOS supports C++. And if you REALLY want it, I can attempt at making a GUI with NO mouse for it. (Using keyboard shortcuts, Etc.) but it would be black and white until I learn a bit more.
@Nicholasc99 You can always apply. You just send in your membership application to me. My contact information is on the CC website. We had a format for the application originally, but it was on a site that we had to shut down. So I will have to build a new one. In the meantime, you can just send me a normal email.
i'm making an OS but I can't make a cursor script. I don't care if it uses old 1 button mice and it's just a little green square, it doesn't matter. i'm doing it in assembly programming language, and it has been taking me around a year writing down the scripts. i did every thing last year, except this year i have been working more on stuff like GUI's (as in mouse support, actual graphics that aren't just text, etc.) and the welcome screen isn't the best design...
@Hildron101010 you could dissect: Menuetos, whitix OS,Linux,GNU Hurd,FreeBSD,LightHouse OS and Minix for your OS kernel bus some might not have support of powerpc.
@Dell0304 It is somewhat like it, but there are numerous differences. Like desktop stacks, the app switching panel, the way folders are opened in the main menu, the startup screen, the toolbar that is unified into the menu bar, the close buttons that are in the menu bar, etc...

@myandroid1000 Ironically, a few months after this video, the Ubuntu Unity desktop took the close/minimize/maximize button concept into the menu bar.

@Nicholasc99 What you choose to do with us in the CC. That's the main thing. You may be asked follow-up questions after that.

It has a severe resemblence to Mac OS X.
But really love it!

@Dell0304 It has stacks in the Dock, but not in the desktop or in the file browser. And yes it has an app switcher, but not like this one.
