  • im not sure if its a result of the short attention span of my generation, but its really awesome to listen to this at the same time as Breathe.something/ Stellar Star by Flying Lotus (Electronic music)

  • A great interpretation of a great Walzt!!!!

  • I love this piece,,, l heard it somewhere in my childhood and it has never left me...all those years...

  • I LOVE THIS !!!!!!!!!!! WAHHHHHHHHH FUCK Katy Perry XD

  • This is what you called some music! a real music! Thanks! I'm always happy to listen that. It's just wonderful, amazing, perfect, that is the good world, it's perfect! Thanks you a lot, again!

(Sorry for my english, I'm french, and I'm 13 years old!) Merci beaucoup ;)

  • Few years ago I spent THREE DAYS listening Chopins waltz. Incredible piece of art! Salute from Montenegro!

  • I am in seventh grade and i am one of the few children my age that listen to music that isn't rap, especially classical. Out of the numerous kids from many schools I have yet to meet a single kid my age who listens to classical or even jazz. This in my opinion is very upsetting, all the kids are very narrow minded and listen to only rap. personally i listen to all except country and nearly any rap i just wish kids would stop blending in and be themselves. that's the true way to get noticed.

  • @hollow333312 I memorized my favorite classical musicians and I used to impress people with how much I knew, how I could tell what the song was and who composed it but now I don't care. Now I simply listen to it for it's beauty. I'm in 11th grade, by the way but that doesn't matter. Don't worry about blending in or not...just like what you like and enjoy life. I'm glad you enjoy this type of music though because this is the gateway to being a musican. All of it goes back to classical music.

  • @hollow333312 i can tell your in 7th grade

  • As if he speaks with words...so expressive!

  • WHO is playing ???

  • @olgaszkop Rubinstein.

  • Immortal music

  • just beautiful

  • I live very close to Chopin's birthplace and i love to walk through fields and forests listening to chopins masterpieces. i know that he was in this places and it amazes me

  • amazing....

  • @kylebossify hahahahhahah

  • seriously, it's beyond me to understand how one can listen to this, having his ears, having a brain and still hit the dislike button.something has got to go.

  • @multishanshan1 Something has already gone if they hit the dislike button on this.Still 92 out of 5605 shows that its only the minority. The vast majority still appreciate good music when they hear it.. :)

  • My brothers gonna play this for a piano recital and it's heck a hard, :)

  • This makes my toes cold D:

  • Chopin has some good ideas but I feel like they could've been organized a bit better.

  • @4hm3dimr4n What do mean 'organized'?

  • @whneo97

By organized I mean organized lol. He has one idea then he moves to the next. I like how he organized and moved between the 1st three sections but when he recapitulated the 1st section in the 4th section, it felt a bit abrupt. I mean maybe that was the effect that he had in mind and was hoping to get though. I just usually prefer a build up rather than something abrupt. Nonetheless, it's cool how this piece is in a variation of the ABA form, where A is comprised of two sections.

  • Me and my three year old brother were just waltzing around the house in his christmas suit and my dress to this :)

  • amoo <3

  • This is Rubinstein 's version....

  • como se llama esta pieza ?

  • beautiful piece of work fair young man

  • It is a special thing to hear one of Chopin's shimmering creations for the first time. Some of the commenters sound as they have just had that pleasure. His music is very accessible; the beauty just gets straight to the heart.

    to you.

  • this is a dream...

  • Such beauty is divine...

  • Thank you so much for your interpretation of this beautiful piece of music!

You've given me so much emotions.

    Thank You

  • too fast for my taste.

  • @cherry11235 SHHHHHH

  • @Matamostras33 hahahaha Sorry.. to interrupt with my laughter . you were hilarious , the best comment here, simplicity wins with the hands down. actually I was feeling pretty low and you just cheer me up. thank you

  • @fedealosgolpes are u being sarcastic? or are u retarded?

  • @Matamostras33 By your words I am inclined to say that you are retarded, what surprise me is that some one with your luck of education is listening to Chopin.. well that is internet keyboard warriors..

  • lovely

  • Wow, unbelievable someone could compose this.

  • @jpd04 its beyond human comprenhead

  • He was the master of the piano. Such melody flows from the heart, if only more people appreciated his music.

  • i love your description of the video

  • Thank you, Poland!

  • i think, if asked to come up with a list of the ten greatest songs ever...... this would be on the list.

  • ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

  • @alittlebeatle why not have sex while listening to this? :)

  • @alittlebeatle Sex and this at the same time.

  • @alittlebeatle Why choose?? Have this on WHILE you're having sex. ahhh. Now that would be great.

  • @alittlebeatle Have sex with this music on.

  • @alittlebeatle hehe 'hard'..

  • @alittlebeatle as much as I love Chopin, I would choose SEX.

  • @Bloodprincess520 When I tried having sex while listening I stopped and danced a waltz with her instead.

  • @Bloodprincess520 Oh yes!

  • @alittlebeatle It would be so easy, of course this ¬¬

  • Where have I heard this before? Rings such a bell but I just can't put my finger on it.

  • As a Jew I really don't care too much about his personal beliefs and adore this piece. Just like Tatoshka87, I think that any kind of racism (dislike on the subject) is due to a lack of understanding or knowledge. Love the music which is all that matters.

  • @romeoworkman7882 I really think you're breaking some basic rules in reasoning here, my friend. Do you really think that a black South African, for example who loves Mozart, Bach, and Milton, feels the same way you do? Just love the music and forget the artist and the artist's personal beliefs? A very rare individual, maybe.

But I can tell you that a black man who loves Western civilization also knows and deeply feels the coldness of its stare and the sting of its whip.

  • @keatsblake100 Also, When I say "knowledge" I mean about the culture, religion or color being hated. ...

  • im adore him but he's dead :'(

  • THIS IS JUST WONDERFULL !

  • thats heavy quoation

  • Hatred of any group of people based on their religion or race is disgraceful and totally unacceptable behaviour, as the great Martin Luther King said a man should be judged on the content of his character, and for what it's worth I am a White Australian. Nice piece of music here composed by Chopin

  • @bluesmuso1563 Bravo my friend

  • It took til this century for many to learn not to hate Jews and Blacks

  • It makes me sad how some people can comment such disgusting things. Enjoy the music, enjoy your life, and please... don't waste it on useless things. Make something out it, because guess what? You will have a hard time if all you can do is trying to be cool and acting like a jerk. Change your attitude, and change your perspective on life. Love, a 12 year old girl who loves her music.

  • Comment removed

  • @cityofwhat Yeah, very nice you old pervert. Go and use foul langauge around a little girl. Learn to behave properly around children!

  • @keatsblake100 YO WHAT THE FUCK IS YOU TALKIN ABOUT B? WHO THE LITTLE GIRL? YOU? AND IF YOU DONT LIKE ME SAYIN THE WORDS "GRUMP" "AND "POTOTO HEAD" THEN WHY YOU REPLY TO ME ON THE SAME VIDEO WHICH WOULD PRECIPITATE ME LEAVIN MORE COMINTS ON DAT VIDEO.??? MAN I THANK YOU IS THE MOST REDICULOS AND POTOTO HEAD DUMB YOU ARE LOST AND THIS MUSIC IS NOT GOING TO HELP YOU ANY MORE THAN IT WOULD HELPO YOU TO PUT YOUR HEAD IN A TOLOT AND LEAVE SOME DOO DOO BATTER AT THE WOLMORT TOLOT ON YOUR HEAD, SICKO

  • @cityofwhat DOG YOU SAY THE MOST RIDICULOUS STUFF BUT U FUNNY AS HELL. WHERE YOU COME UP WITH THE ORIGINAL SH*T YOU SPITTIN, FOOL? DOG YOU ORIGINAL AND I AIN'T BEING IRONIC OR SARCHASTIC OR CINICAL OR NONE OF THAT SHIT, MY DOGGIE. COS YO SH*T ORIGINAL AS HELL, LIKE "DOODOO BATTER" AND "DOGGIE SALAD" AND "CAT SOUP" AND ESPECIALLY "TURGO GRUMP." DOG I DISRESPECTED YOU BUT I WAS WRONG. KEEP SPITTEN MAD WORDS AND EXPRESSIONS, YO!

  • @keatsblake100 REGOCNIZE.

  • @BestiesBug Well of course you feel the way do young lady, because you're twelve. In your world, you are surrounded by pretty flowers, horses, smiling friends, and Frederic Chopin. But when you are older, you'll probably learn to think more critically, deeply, and analytically. When that happens, you may want to look at things in different ways, which might seem strange to you now. Enjoy your young life, little one!

  • this is so beautiful o:

  • why is there and upside down button for like on chopin waltz :o

  • doesnt the photo on 00:01 remember you of abraham lincoln.

  • what is the number of this waltz?

  • there is even that stupid ass penis comment on classical music videos?...... sure i expect it from dubstep videos but come on.....

  • Magnifique!

  • Not bad, I prefer Ronald Jenkees on the piano tho.

  • Chopin was an antisemite and dated a woman who wore men's clothing and smoked cigars. In spite of it all, I love him. Shit.

  • @keatsblake100 Anti-Semite?

  • @MrTreantHugger Hatred toward Jews.

  • @keatsblake100 In spite of dating a woman that wore mens clothes? You sound more prejudiced than you claim he was.

  • @TenWhoWereTaken I was trying to be ironic. I did read somwhere in a biography of great composers that Chopin was "fashionably" antisemitic. The author obviously used "fashionably" to soften the disturbing nature of the word, "antisemitic."

I honestly don't care about George Sand, Chopin's girlfriend.

I guess the point I'm making is that even with Chopin's moral "insufficiencies", I can't help but love the man and his music, which frustrates me and creates a little war within my heart.

  • i wouldn't say chopin was necessarily that antisemitic

he was just humiliated to be judge by a jewish publisher in france

but then again when jewish people came to his neighborhood to buy grains

he called them over to play ceremonial jewish song, which drove the people buying the grains to dance in merriment.

but who knows how chopin really felt about jewish people

anyone can read from text online or on a book, but nobody can really know how chopin really felt toward jews

  • @keatsblake100 I can agree that Antisemitism is a horrible belief that is a revelator of profound ignorance but a woman wearing "mens" clothing ? That is what I would call a free woman that isn't tied down by the norms of society. Antisemitism bad, woman wearing mens clothing good... music FANTASTIC we at least agree on that

  • @alittlebeatle Even better. We agree on all points, because I don't think wearing men's clothing is at all bad. I was just trying to be funny. You know, like "even though he chews tobacco, I still consider him my friend." I have nothing against chewing tobacco in general - or at least wouldn't make a decision on having a friend or not because of it - but most people find the habit disgusting. It was just a joke, made in sincere irony. Thanks for your reply!

  • @keatsblake100 Well thank you for your civility (not that oh you offended me I'm gonna hate on you attitude some people adopt when conytadicted or critisised)

  • @keatsblake100 YO HE WERE NOT AN ANTI SEMIT CAUSE IN DA MOVIE PIANIST HE IS A JEWISH

  • @cityofwhat lol

  • 86 fellas had their ears stepped on by an elephant.

This is actually one of the bases of classic rock. Like a wave length -fast and slow, quiet and loud. The balance is present, therefore fulfilling harmony.

Disliking something for the lack of understanding is silly.

Say, if you lack understanding a computer language, does it mean you have to dislike it? You used your computer to watch this video, didn't you?

  • @cityofwhat

    U MAD?

  • @cityofwhat i dont think anyone can take you serioulsly, hahahah. your speaking non-sense hahaha.

  • @cityofwhat You're quite self-descriptive, I see.

  • @cityofwhat that will be excellent for your job resume, but not gonna get you anywhere else

  • @aznlawrenzo WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TRYNA SAY NIGA? YOU ARE AS PUTRID AND VILE AS A PORTO POTAY FULLED UP WUTH GAY PORNO NIGGUS TRYNA ROLL AROUND IN THE DOODOO BATTER AND LICK IT OFF WHILE DRY HUMPIN A JAR OF SPOILED YOGORT YOU ARE AS DISTURBING AS WAKING UP IN A TUB OF DOG SALAD TAKE A BATH IN CAT SOUP ANDPOOR ROTTEN GOGURT DOWN YOUR CRACKS. YOU ARE THE WORS TYPE OF GRUMP, A MUD GRUMP. I BET YOU KEEP BANANAS IN YO KITCHEN AND SOAP BUCKET BLOC HEAD NIGA YOU ARE A TURBO GRUMP POLLIWOG MOTHERFUCKOR

  • @cityofwhat "I BET YOU KEEP BANANAS IN YO KITCHEN AND SOAP BUCKET BLOC HEAD NIGA YOU ARE A TURBO FRUMP POLLIWOG MOTHERFUCKOR" Dude, seriously, what are you talking about? Make sense for at least a phrase, or JUST SHUT UP.

  • Comment removed

  • @cityofwhat Um, I never had the point here, I just love this song, as well as Chopin.

  • @cityofwhat Learn how to spell before you go 'insulting' someone in all capital letters.

Just a hint of advice for you.

  • @Tatoshka87 blues was the base for classic rock. classical music had minimal influence.

  • Comment removed

  • @Tatoshka87 as i said, minimal influence.

  • @grimiguana Ah, by the textbook, it is. But if you take a good listen to the patterns of classic and rock music, they are not much different. That's what I meant.

In fact, some metal artists, like Quorthon of Bathory, listened to a whole lot of classical music, which most likely influenced his music as well.

  • @Tatoshka87 not really

rock music is much more dissonant than classical music, due to the separation of those time periods and there are MUCH less loops in classical music than rock music

  • @aznlawrenzo Don't confuse classic rock with today's rock. It isn't the same. Listen to King Crimson and then listen to Bach.

  • @Tatoshka87

You can use your computer to watch a video not knowing what to expect and end up not liking it. The reason dislike button is there is so you can press dislike if you don't like it. I happen to disagree with your comment so I gave it a thumbs down because that is what the thumbs down button is for. It doesn't if somebody doesn't understand it. I barely understand what Allan Holdsworth does, but he is one of my favorite musicians ever. Disliking something isn't a crime.

  • @Fluffypopcicle You misunderstood my point on the computer example, but that's ok.

One woman, when looking at one of Picasso's works, stated something like "My child could paint that." to which he replied, "Congratulations, madam, your child is a genius."

Go on keep disliking. Keep disrespecting the work of art which took more effort in making than all the "dislike" buttons put together.

  • @Tatoshka87

I never said I disliked this piece. I'm a huge fan of Chopin. Ironically though, I don't like this piece very much for whatever reason. I don't care if somebody slaved over a chocolate cake for a very long time, if it tastes like shit to me then I won't eat and I obviously won't like it and that's that.

  • @Tatoshka87 understanding something has nothing to do with liking or disliking

  • Comment removed

  • Why can't anyone these days accept diversity and just accept the fact that some people's musical preferences are different from theirs? Really makes me sad such stupid comments are top two.

    Chopin's my favorite composer, btw.

  • The description explains everything: "a man who wrote poems with the piano"

I can actually see scenes in my mind when I listen to piano music...

  • Comment removed

  • so relaxing...

  • dude its 'cause they are idiots...you can't really blame them

  • actually the 85 people have too good speakers that they tremble at every magnificent note played and miss the thumbs up button.

  • WHO THE FUCK CAN DISLIKE THIS MASTERPIECE ?

  • I was about to write, 85 people have a different music taste and i respect that, but listening to this i just wonder how can someone dislike pure art?

  • @XXXkisssssXXX

    Lack of musical understanding.

  • I love see there is 2 513 940 views on a classical music...

  • Cudowne!
