You can do a web search for it in google, and there is a spec sheet for it. Search on google for "2n3055 pdf" Note you will need to total the voltage for both the input and the out put for the total volatage ( as I understand it )
I don't know, they give you such small amounts. I have found more inside vacume cleaners I have taken apart then what they sell you. But I have ordered mine online, I use 23 Gauge for trigger, and 20 Gauge for for power coil.

Does the sharp north work better than a normal north sided magnet? If so what performance gains have you witnessed?

I wonder what the breakdown voltage of radio shack magnet wire is? It might be 2 or 3 thousand?
