  • I don't know why music was added, it is pointless. The roar of the crowd from that electric environment is music to my ears!

  • Thank you for the "thumbs ups" and "top comment" honors. Tommie is the greatest-past, present, and future-quarterback. We must find some way to properly honor this Husker Hero, since the Heisman voters failed so miserably.

  • Go Tommy Go! My family's favorite husker!

  • One of the best college qb to play the game. Why the hell isn't he in the college football hall of fame! GO! BIG! RED!

  • yea eddie george does need to give it too frazier

  • Bill McCartney was a very smart guy, but he sure goofed in turning down Tommie Frazier. Talk about a big-time goof. I had heard that Frazier was ready to sign with Notre Dame until Coach Osborne changed Tommie's mind. Tommie Frazier obviously made the right choice to become a Husker. Too bad that his skill-set did not translate to the next level. I also heard that he's tried coaching, but it hasn't worked out well for him.

  • His cousin is a Redshirt Freshman Qb at Nebraska now.

  • @commenteh whos his cousin?

  • @GoBigRed211 Brion Carnes. He even picked Tommies number.

  • best option QB EVER!!

  • How many times will they converge on the pitch man before they finally get that he is probably going to take it him for himself!?

  • Creed? Really?

  • Lol....Tommie Was good But we got another version of Tommie Known as T-Magic Taylor Martinez He is Another version of Frazier wats great is that he can get so much better too! 2 passing td's and 8 rushing td's in 4 Games! i cant wait to see him in his junior year imaging 11 passing td's and 13 rushing td's in 3 games!

  • @Alex427779 Martinez is not Tommie Frazier. Frazier had a grit from day 1 that Martinez just does not have. Martinez may be the fastest QB we ever had, but not so good at eluding tacklers or powering through them like Frazier and Crouch.

  • I live in Michigan and really don't care about NU football, but when people ask me who I think the best NCAA football players I've seen are, I still say Tommie Fraizer is very close, if not at the top.

  • I hear "he would be a wide-out (or DB) in the NFL, the option wouldn't work in the NFL". OK. Imagine some over-confident, over-paid, left-coast NFL fatcats, like the raiders with that lump from LSU at QB, coming into Lincoln on some frigid fall Saturday, only to see smokin' Tommie Frazier and friends run through, over, and around them all night. Well, he just played quarterback AGAINST the NFL, and the option worked! So there! And just to be clear, he IS the all-time greatest col. QB.

  • He is so beast.

  • Option Left, Option Right, Option Left, Option Right..

    Tommie Frazier > Tim Teabow

  • I bow down to Frazier.

  • awsome talent loved huskers teams from 92 to 97 great d and awsome qbs and o line

  • @jasmcc1 i kno rite and thing i'm most proud of is scott frost played highschool football at my school and that school is wood river rural high school and i'm very proud to say that i'm a husker fan to this day... even tho they're a lil iffy now i still luv watchin them play

  • we have 5 national titles

and colorado thinks they have an amazing program

  • bgshdy, for every one of your "Colorado blows out Nebraska" games, I'll find you 10 "Nebraska screwed you and didn't even buy you dinner" games.

  • 30-3

  • the Best

  • did he ever get drafted to the NFL? or what happened?

  • he had blood clots in his knees

  • D: thats terrible! i feel sorry for the guy. i bet he wouldve made a great QB in the NFL

  • No he wouldn't he is an option QB maybe he could convert to reciever or running back

  • Tommy gets my vote for Heisman every year from now until he wins it.

  • @sooner3153 Damn right.

  • Creed does blow, but I loved the video. Tommie was and possibly always will be the best college quarterback. Not only does Eddie George owe him the heisman but so does Danny Wuerffel

  • @LordMatt06 Well said and maybe Charlie Ward

  • I had to turn the sound off because my ears started to bleed when the music began playing.

  • Yeah Creed blows.

  • too bad nu lost at isu two weeks later.

  • the huskers are awessome. im a husker fan. tommie is a god!!!!!!!!!!!! so is turner gill, grant winstrom, johnny the jet rogers, mike rozier, ndonakon sue, nate swift, and eric crouch. GO BIG RED!!!

  • This could be the best video on youtube Nebraska putting Colorado in their place reminding them that we'll always be Nebraska and they'll always be Colorado GO BIG RED

  • 62-36

  • @bgshdy are u kidding me a score from 2001 how bout 28-20 from 2009 talk to me again when Colorado is relevant which means ull prolly never talk to me again so cya enjoy hawnkins and sucking ass in boulder shouldnt be too tough for ya

  • i dont know if tommie frazier was THE best quarterback EVER, but he is certainly right up there, and eddie george does owe him a heisman.

  • frazier and crouch are the best option quarterbacks that ive ever seen...its a shame that the option attack is a lost art nowadays

  • Crouch wasn't that good of an option QB, he had alot of fumbles and made alot of bad reads. Lord was better

  • are you kidding me? lord was terrible. he was ok at running but he made way too many mistakes, and when he was quarterback, the offense sucked. crouch was a crapload better than lord.

  • I am kidding Crouch was better but Lord was more talented

  • hmm actually i think crouch was all around better. he was faster and he could juke better and he could throw better in my opinion. i dont know if he had a faster 40 time than lord, but it looked like it to me. i think crouch ran a 4.47, but i dont know what lord ran. either way, i would definitely take crouch as a qb over lord. at least lord was better than dailey though.

  • Crouch had better straight line speed, but thats it Lord was more agile, had better moves, quicker stronger

  • lord might be stronger, but from all the football i saw eric crouch play and jammal lord play, to me crouch had a heck of a lot better moves, was quicker, and was actually tougher in that he wouldnt go down the first time he got hit. i guess the way i saw it eric crouch was a heck of a lot better than lord in all areas, and it really translated onto the field and we had a much better offense when crouch was at the reigns. thats just my opinion.

  • crouch got to play with Diedrick, Thunder, Wistrom and many other great players.

    Lord played with who???????

  • you do have a good point there, but crouch still would have done better than lord. plus lord started only one year after crouch left, so the team couldnt have been that much different. lord did inherit a tough situation though, i have to give him that. plus he had a lot to live up to since husker fans were so used to having a great quarterback and a great team. he was definitely a heck of a lot better than joe dailey, lol.

  • Frank Solich said it himself that Lord would have been a safety if the quarterback he wanted didn't get drafted in baseball.

  • i think he should have been running back. the starter would have been curt dukes, had he not turned down the starting position. i cant believe he did that.

  • that'd be carl crawford

  • so how do you think nebraska is going to do this coming year, now that pelini has the reigns? i think it will finally actually feel like nebraska football again.

it never felt quite like good ol' husker football during callahan's 4 years. ya know?

  • I think nebraska needs to get back to option football

  • if we had linemen like the 90's and another tommie frazier and ahman green, that would definitely be the way to go. i think this offense will do alright though. nebraska really needs an established running game though, because when you run it a lot, it really takes a toll on the defense. thats a lot of the reason why nebraska was always good in the 4th quarter and would come back and win games that looked to be over. (example: missouri in 1997)

  • Crouch was faster, better AND more talented than Lord. I don't believe that Lord ever got a single Heisman vote.

  • Heisman vote? Lord played on a medicore nebraska team.

    IMO Lord was more talented

  • Lord couldn't run the option to his off hand - check the tape. Everytime he ran to his left, he kept the football

I think Frost was better than both of them. He was a tougher runner and a bit better passer - he just grew up in the shadow of "Touchdown" Tommie
