i have one question.

so i think u did it a bit wrong. there is no space between tobacco and tinfoil as we can see on video. thats why there was smoke immediately, but im sure that tobaco seared (burned) u know what i mean. after few tryes smoke was scratching ur throat wasnt it?

so when you blow into the arguile to take the smoke out, the pressure pushes the air out of that part, if it was blocked, pressure would cause the water to go through the pipe and out of the head and ruin it...

you can use BBQ coal, and if you go anywhere in the middle east where they smoke traditionally, arab bars and resturants offer real bbq coal, but some places offer the fake ones. Everyone prefers the real kind because it doesnt leave a taste and doesn't burn the head easily. As for carbon monoxide,its a: the water absorbs it or b: such high temperature that it doesnt form... Not sure what the real answer is. I was using fake crushed olive wood coal which i dont advice, leaves a nasty taste

I heard you can get co poisoning and just die :\ I you feel any symptoms of a headache, nausea, stomach ache...that means you are getting early symptoms of CO poisoning and that's not fun :( That's why I always stick to coals that says it is specifically made for hookah. Most hookah natural charcoals leave no taste. You should try it:] lol its cuz I'm kinda concerned about you getting poisoned lol

using the coal heats the shisha instead of burning, making it last longer, taste less harsh, and taste better. shisha is not meant to be burned, as in with a flame, and it could be bad

alright man so i got some questions me and my friend just got a hookah a little while ago and we are don't really know much about how to use it. How far into the water should the stem go? And are you suppose to cover the bowl in aluminum foil like you did in this video? Is there a way you can do it with out the coals? Can you use any kind of coals or do you have to buy coals just for hookahs? Please get back to me this information would help me a lot.

about an inch or two into the water is good. You can use aluminum foil or buy and inexpensive screen they sell online. So far coal is the only way to go. You have to buy hookah coal.
