How To Make A Jungle Gym

I want to make a simple, safe, fun playpen for my new hamster that I'm getting in two weeks. You girls seem to know alot about this; Is it safe for hamsters to crawl in glass jars? Like, it's a strong mason jar that a hamster would fit in, but are there things you should make sure it has or doesn't have first? And also, is non toxic paint okay to use on things you make for hamsters?

@DrGermanBoy01 to get my hamsters i actually did a lot of research on hamsters.like wat they eat how much they eat n a day the bedding and all of the things necessary. and for a bonus i saved my money to buy all of the supplies.( cage, hamster,treats,food etc.)

@robohammie98 Yes, we used smaller popsicle sticks for Theodore's. We left the larger one out of Mocha's cage,so could play on it when he was out.

If you are not messy with the glue gun or whatever glue you use they can't chew on it unless it falls apart.

Too much glue can clog up thier belly.

@diianixch Toxic glue is harmful for hamsters, wet or dry. Non toxic glue is safe. I'm sorry you've already made the jungle gym....

Well glue sticks wont really work. But I used a glue bottle on the smaller version. But the only problem with that is that it get very slippery when placeing sticks on and you have to wait 12 hours to fully dry when finished.

We had to draw the hamster out, and use stop animation to make it move one frame at a time.

I made it ! It is so cool ! We made it for Oliver and he Loves it ! With the thing on the side we put bedding in it and he sleeps in it ! We got a hamster colorful play pen at PetSmart today and we conected it to our hamster cage and then put the jungle gym in it and its really awsome ! You guys are great ! We got the Popcicle sticks at the Dollar Store and there easy to find in the 150 packet ! Thanks ! ~Allie and Hailey
