This is truly why I love Kelly Clarkson .... I hope she continues to go from mainstream pop in to more indie music .... It's a progression for her .... the limelight has never been what she wanted ..... and this style of music is where she truly excels ... (Just in my opinion) .... I truly think she is an amazing singer .... and this performance shows it .... awesome band to begin with ... but this cover was BRILLIANT

It happens. She has been working her ass off and I'm actually surprised it hadn't happened earlier. She usually knows if she's going to be able to hit or not and obviously miscalculated. Oh well. Everything else was great though. I love her. I have a meet and greet on 11/2 and I can't wait to tell her how proud I am to call myself a fan.

i love the fact that you said 99% because there are some amazing freakin' vocalists out there who are so much better than her. I love her to death, but singers like Sandi Patty, Kristin Chenoweth, could EASILY blow her out of the water(especially in their upper range). I'm probably gonna' get thumbs down for this comment, but whatever I don't care it's my opinion they can get over it. i'm rambling right now i'm sorry. omg i heard the ending. poor kelly... I don't think so, she really is touring almost every evening, and with songs like that it can't be 100% always, It surprises me it took so long before this happened :)

Well yes, but I think her songs are really hard to sing and she sings almost all the high notes. Cause I've seen a lot of artist perform like Beyoncé, Pink,.. but I mean the way Kelly sings is just unbelievable. Most of the time her voice sounds really great, I've seen her just two times live and she was really good then. Her youtube performances I see are always excellent except from a few notes like this but when she sings the way she does it just doesn't surprise me.

But one day break saves her voice but it wont prevent her from cracking on notes. All singers do that there is clips of mariah carey/whitney houston failing on notes so nobody has a voice that can handle belting all the time.

And please dont yell on other artists that can actually sing and tell them that they suck or w/e when you can't sing yourself.

Kelly has an unique voice and she can really sing any genre of music it's incredible cause some voices are only fit for one thing and sounds awfu lwhen they sing something else.
