woah i didnt know ray could climb on top of that tower! i was completely shocked when you get to hop inside rex. I remember after MGS3 i always said to my friends "man it would be fuckin awesome to actually PILOT A METAL GEAR! thank you kojima for giving FANS a wonderful experience. people that claim they are MGS fans and HATE MGS4 aren't REAL FANS. why? because the whole game is FAN SERVICE. its like one big epic mgs montage of symbolism and nostalgia with an amazing conclusion to the GOAT.

I Love the way Kojima did this, having these Twin Brothers fight and then having these Metal Gear Brothers fight. Not to mention this is the only game that you can be a Metal Gear. Imagine if REX still had his Rail Gun:)) Not to mention in my opinion, RAY was stronger in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, he had a lot more missiles and his Water Cutter lasted longer. Anyways REX is the ultimate God of Metal Gear, no one else can PWN as much as he can.:))

great way to end the fight, by grabbing ray.

only flawed part about this fight is that RAY was designed to counter other Metalgears and rex was desinged as a long range weapons platform. though the ability to grab ray and throw it around like a rag doll probably evened it out alittle.

I prefer using 60mm gattling until it falls and then switching to Missiles to make a 100% lock will its on the floor and then release all. When he goes behing buildings I prefer loading the Laser up to the higher level posible before he gets out and then punish him with a Lv3 or 5 laser shot. And for the rest just ramping and dodging.

It is protected, but since the sensor that gave the driver a hud was destroyed in MGS 1, the driver has to see his target manually, which exposes himself.

Yeah. I remember that Rex's armor was pretty much invincible. Any weapon you use had zero effect. You had to destroy the sensors so Liquid would open the cockpit and expose himself.
