we call these rope twist where im from...i been rockin mines for awhile now...did them 2weeks after my last perm took tht out a gud 8-10 weeks after wore my natural hair for about 2 weeks n now im all rope twist again
Your hair looks Beautiful! Im actually debating between the Twist or just getting my hair braided as I have them on the vid on my page. A few questions if you dont mind! Where did u get them done, who did them & how much was it? & wer u able to wet them? A few ppl have said that wetting them will cause them ti unravel & becuase I am natural I am a lil concerned about the frizz of my natural hair when dry. Thanku & pls feel free 2 visit my page, comment & subscribe! Stay blessed
thank yuh cuz im getting mine "house done" by a girl that I met at college they look pretty good so far shes not quite done yet so well find out how they turn out 2ma..
@MolassesMajesty21 they dip the ends in boiling water, the hair is synthetic so it melts together somewhat, similar to if u were to burn the ends together
your hair is so pretty and so are you thats why you look good with this hair style im getting my hair done before break is over i hope i look as pretty as you ...(: !$
i know this is late for a video done almost 2 yrs ago but, how long are your twists? i was gonna get them done soon and i want mine longgggg! haha, yours looks like a good length.
Hi Ariella. Im going to the same spot you got your twists done in two days and I wanted to know if the twits were so tight that you felt they were pulling a little too much at your roots. I transitioning now and I don't want my new growth to be pulled and tugged on too tightly which im afraid will damage my roots. One of the first things Im going to ask of Alimatou is that she doesn't twist too tight especially around my edges
where can u buy the hair or what is the hair called cuz I'm 14 and i want to get some while i transition. too many people get kinky twist and i want something different.
your hair looks beautiful and so are you. You remind of one of my favorite music artist Mutya Buena. I've been considering getting the twist for awhile now. I live in NYC can you tell me what hair salon you went to?
hey i have a question when you had these done, how did you do the whole washing process and what shampoo /conditioners did you use. and how did you deal with the itching?
I loved this video very much. I have very natural curly hair and really dont know anything about hair but i am pregnant and dont want to worry about doing it. Anyways I was wondering what kind of hair you used and would you recommend I go to a african shop or what? Thanks so much hope to hear from you soon.
thank u! i actually just used regular braiding hair, u know like those dollar packs, nothing special, and yes i recommend an african hair braiding shop only because i went to one, the lady did a fantastic job
hey your twist looks nice on you i got the done in phili two weeks ago i know what ur saying about the break i've been transtioning for 8months now how long are u going to keep your braids in for im trying at least 2months i was then to by putting shampoo in a spray bottle massage then i use komanza herbal tea rince then i spray with coconut curl spray wen its dry i oil my scalp with jojoba oil.
Your twist look gorgeous! Im in my 4th month. I had twist before but I had to take them out because my scalp irritated. I think it was the type of hair I used. But they really help hair growth. Good luck with your journey.
aww damn, i have dandruff so i think that'd be my only obstacle, i'm gonna try to make them last a month and a half, and if i can 2 months, but we'll see
ive been wanting to get those twists done..they look really nice on you..gives u a whole new look!! and now u dont have to worry about styling in all the snow and rain....good ole harlem.!!!!.. u dont even have to get of the train at 125th before pple are asking u if u want ur hair done...gotta love it! enjoy ur new yrs ariella be safe ;)
