hey i got some bad news- tell your buddys too- microsoft was just about to come out with msts 2 so they stop making msts 1 and started making msts 2 and found out that it was too expensive so they scrap the idea! HOLD ON THO THE MSTS #1 BECAUSE THERE NOT MAKING IT ANYMORE!!
Oh I figured it out you have to make a common sound folder and put the sounds for the ge fdl2 not ge fdl ge fdl2 alaised the locomotives to ( "..\\..\\COMMON.SND\\GE_FDL2\\NS_eng.sms" ) and also ( "..\\..\\COMMON.SND\\GE_FDL2\\NS_cab.sms" ) If you have any more questions go to my page and leave me a message and I will get back to you right away!!!! :)
Ok Ok I'm sorry! I will try my best to explain it better. First you go to your trainset folder and if you have a common sound folder already in there then all you have to do is make sure that the GE FDL2 sounds are inside the common sound folder. Next go to each and every one of your norfolk southern locomotives and go inside their folder and click on the engine document and if will say to either pick a website from the list or pick any You know why don't I send you a message instead! Yeah!
NORFOLK SOUTHERN... Use high nose units :) I liked Norfolk Southern as it was in the late 80's with all the old original NW and SOU equipment. Now its becoming tooo modern, and it doesnt set itself out from the rest anymore :( LONG HOOD FORWARD 4EVER!
video looks good, just plz split up the engines, don't stack 'em all on the front. add some as helpers, and the real ns usually doesn't go over 80 cars on the pokey. coal trains sometimes max out at 100.
i don't mean to nit pick, but if your going to run long trains like rhat on this route, instead of stacking 6-8 engines on the front, kinda split them up, i've spent time on the real route, and usually the trains where as long as yours, the most up front you'd see is maybe 4, then a set at the rear pushing
Neat video, some people will make Train sim and Trainz videos following one train, and they are so boring, this one is neat, but your symbols are way off. NS runs a 3 digit system, 100s mixed, 200 intermodel/auto 600-900 is for coal.
some of those horns are from trainz

where'd you get the horn for #8736 and 2677

how do you get into yard view
Cooldit 4 years ago
Yard view? It's the "7" key.
I've found that the yard view doesn't work for most of the routes I have downloaded.
I used the spotter cam ("4" key), just so you know.
Leadfoot866 4 years ago
I like the doppler effect on some of them :)
