@Shojahan Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion. I do wish you could have chosen another way to share it, but I still accept your opinion, as well, yours. For future reference, the oldest skeleton in the world comes from Africa. So technically every human being is a descendant of Africa. Also, for your reference, my great great grandmother was born into slavery, and my father was of African American descent. And I don't think I mentioned Cleopatra in my poem. Thanks.

I know how she feels. Im a mixed girl and forever since I was a little girl have been living in a completely white environment. I had always wanted straight hair, a thin body type, and bright blue or green eyes. Now I'm 14 and realize how unique and beautiful I really am and embrace my curly hair and curvy body type. I love being mixed! I do actually realize that guys r pretty attracted to mixed and exotic girls as well so, not a problem for me! ;D

@newbei440 So, I almost didn't post your comment, but then I decided that your opinion should be allowed to be heard. I have to say, what I REALLY believe, is that everyone descends from the same two people, who I believe were "black." So, in that case, mixed or not, we ALL are black. However, the more important thing to take away, I think, is that life is about finding one's own expression of who they are, that no one should simply be defined by the color of their skin, but by who they are.

I know how she feel. Im multi-racial raised my a multi-racial mother. I am what the world call High Yellow. Blacks didnt like me b/c I was bright skin with long hair. A stupid reason not to like anyone. But I wasnt a push over and I didnt take BS even as a young age.
