I don't want to sound like a green eye hating retard. But Sonic...changed. The art style, the attitude of the developers, everything. From an adorable, lovable animated character, into....something else. The entire design was changed for NO reason. And Sega shuns the older design! WHY? And whenever they make a new Sonic game, they hire awful people! The fans have to constantly complain in order to get something done! They lie constantly. They don't even try. The games are rushed. It's sad. why?

Of couse it is, The Mega Drive/ Genesis game didn't come out simutaneously with the PC version. This version of S3K came out years later with a reworked sound track to make use of the PC's audio capabilities.

Therefore its a remix, inhouse or not its still a remake of the original music.

This isn't correct. The PC version of Sonic 3 was composed with a Roland SC-88. This is just a soundfont.

The FM versions of the PC version were meant for playback on ISA sound cards that lacked PCM synthesis (OPL3).
