The one thing I don't understand is why didn't Megatron just fly away while he was falling into the hole? He seemed to do plenty of it while chasing Optimus in the minutes prior to absorbing all the sparks.

yea i agree with Oamanu, because acording to the old transformers comics and animated series, the core of cybertron was primus, not a green blob, and that there really wasnt mention of an oracle. But i came up with a solution that can tie this together. Cybertron was an organic world at one time perhaps, and after Primus and Unicron battled, Primus chose that organic world to house himself, which caused the massive technological change, and he brought about the transformers.

So what did they do? To even have organic compounds in the first place Primus needed to be techorganic. They just basically gave him a paint job.

Maybe someday they'll pick up the transtech series that was supposed to be a follow-up to this one. It'd be better in my opinion than Armada. I would have liked to see a bit more technological on cybertron as well, the ending backdrop doesn't really make the two appear balanced, merely overrun. Anyway, glad I got to see all this again.

first megatron was a dinosaur then a transmetal dinosaur,then a red dragon,after that became a part of cybertron,next became a big head megatron that doesn't even look like his head, got trapt in a small robot,then finaly became a optimal megatron. His forms just get cooler and cooler except for his big head and small robot form.

Well in real life you need a lot of biological for the technological to even exist. Otherwise you'd have no atmosphere and all the technological would be burned up by the sun's rays. And yes, you need to be near a sun to get solar energy to power the machines.

You know, when I saw this on TV, I didn't understand it. Now I do. Optimus and Megatron had to coexist in order to achieve this victory. In the end, Megatron provided the sparks and Optimus provided the technorganic. A perfect plan by the oracle. "Transform your destiny, transform and trancend" Now I get what it meant by that.
