perfect throttle response, very tight pipe, extremely high pitch and loud. side by side with a Pro Circuit r-304 woods pipe. which is said to be best for 2 stroke mx bikes.

boy that brings back memories! I had an insane 1997 it used to be an ama registered pro bike.. All ported and such by someone can't even remember the company now, boyesen covers and float bowl, boyesen rad valve, fmf turbine core, and some insane noleen header, pro action, diff sub frame, excel rims and talon hubs that thing RIPPED

you should get 2011 plastics on it and a 2011 seat cover and new rims do black rims and powdercoat the whole frame and swing arm black then u got ur self a fine bike

@hotmoviemaker it all depends on how you ride. personaly i ride my bikes for about half hour at a time at the most and let them cool down. some people keep riding them, some just hold em open down the road and thats way too hard on a 2 stroke motor. the thrush berrings cant take it. but i have had no problems. i sold it now. but i have had others and they are reliable just as long as you take care of them. over all you usualy can get a solid season out of a set of piston and rings.

@hotmoviemaker Rm's are pretty reliable. Kx's seem to have problems in my experience. Cr's and yz's are both great bikes too...And I have gone alot longer than 1 season on a top end. currently on my 3rd season and i ride up to 4 hour rides on it no problem. Keep up on the fluids and filters and such. if you ride harder pre-mix more oil in. if you putt you can lean it out. plus use purple ice radiator additive, cools your motor more.
