  • I have an injury in the joint of my right shoulder. Whenever I do bench (chest and shoulders) or press-ups, I get a dull ache in the front of my shoulder. The consultant said it didn't require keyhole surgery, but I need to change my training routine. Does this mean I will neve be able to work my chest and shoulders again? I'm only 30 and I've been written off for life. Shit. Any advice anyone. Should I just lay off doing any weights for months? If so, how long?

  • Nice lifting brow, kip teining hard, god bless you

  • I damaged my left front delt by letting the dumbbell go down too much in flyes. It doesn't hurt to move or anything just in heavy presses, I can press light presses without it hurting but still I choose to let it rest. Anything you know that can speed up the recovery?

  • did your shoulder heal after time because i think i got what you had except in my right shoulder?

  • yeah actually it is now it's healed, my comment was 5 months ago so it's been a while :P. I don't feel any pain any longer but it would denfinetly have worked this fast without the rehab recieved from my physical therapist. two weird exercises which is pretty hard to explain just by typing. It was apparently something wrong with my shoulderblade, it wasn't perfectly alined with the other, thus giving the "illusion" being the shoulder, although it was the shoulder, gave illusion bigger of pain.

  • would definitely NOT worked this fast without the rehab* Typed wrong. All I can say dude, you just gotta go to a physical therapist. Be sure to say about that shoulderblade thing, mention that it happened to some dude you talked to and that you think it might be the same. Not saying it is but it's good you do because my physical therapist had a hard time figuring out what the problem was. In fact it wasn't until my third visit that she noticed the real cause, experienced therapists will notice

  • I'm in the same boat but I damaged my ac joint I'm learning the Olympic lifts at the moment from a physio!
