Sounds relatively close to the arcade version's song, but the NES' version is much, much better by a long shot.

I really hope to get this someday. I have DD2 for NES, and it's really good, but I like the arcade game, too, and feel like it didn't get the love it should get. I have the PC version from back in the day, but to say it's a piece of crap is putting it mildly.

@Otouto72 I agree! I think TECHNOS also should've published and developed games for the Genesis, but unfortunately Nintendo wouldn't let them.

I would think Double Dragon 2 for NES is both better in Music and Gameplay cause its more smother and the people look cooler ha. But if you ever want to play it you can get and NES emulator and play it yourself and you tell me which is better.

Theres the link to the Nintendo's Music Version of Double Dragon 2. And In response to your question, I think Musically and Gameplay was Superb because it came out on Nintendo NES before it went anywhere else so everything else was based off of this. You can download emulators online for NES and play Double Dragon 2 if ever want to try it hit me up and I'll show you how to get it.

@420gz Do you mean musically? Gameplay? Both? I never played this on neither so I'm well interested in your opinion. I've only played this on Arcade, Spectrum and Game Boy but never for the Mega Drive and I never had a Nintendo growing up.

this was the first import game i got on my megadrive it was cool but i liked double dragon better t

hat didnt come out till a few years after

i may be mad but i liked double dragon 3 better on the megadrive than the arcade

@malc1976 You're not mad your smart! Never played the second on the Mega Drive but the third one was brilliant, I loved that game so much. As for the arcade version of DD3, it was horrible, one of the worst I ever played, so the MD and Spectrum versions are a lot better
