It's not about your gender. The commercial shows that she was able to emotionally connect with the game's story. It's easy to make fun of her but it's incredible when you think about it. Movies are easy to relate to, but to imagine a game drawing you in to the point of tears is nothing short of astounding. That's what makes a commercial as subtle as this so powerful.
