  • Ez zenekarral egymilliárdszor jobb! itt keményen repednie kell a húroknak.... ebben a dallamban, témában annyi erő rejlene!!! A 2. tétel a Medvetánc is bőgő nélkül 0 nulla

  • he is rubbish!!!!

  • at what speed did you play it? because in the exam book it says 138 but that is REDICULOUSLY fast and personally i think it's way too fast

  • I wonder if perhaps it should be sped up a little bit? I think it sounds nicer with a brisker pace.

  • u left out all of the ritardando's and accelerando's... -.-

  • Awesome, come on! Have some musicality! Enjoy it! Think that this is good. PP

    :)

  • the notes are really sticky

  • great

  • I think this should be played with a little more dynamic contrast and emotion.

  • @TheSoundDepo I agree!!!! More emotion. Enough dynamics though.

  • Well played. As someone else said, it sounds a bit thumpy, but that might be the recording quality.

You can play it a lot better than me so you deserve kudos for that! Love it!

  • i learning this song now i love this song...

  • me too :D

  • Saaame! Are you learning it for Grade 7 Piano?

  • yup :D

ABRSM. it's the only piece that i know all the notes for so far lol. it's my favourite :)

  • Its my favourite too, i nearly had to to that jazz one (i cant for the life of me remember what its called) but i found the bartok just in time :D

Have you chosen your other pieces?

  • haha the jazz one is very.. interesting. i dunno every ABRSM exam ive done so far has one random jazz piece to choose from and i think they all sound the same lol in a way. the bartok is so different and it isn't boring at all.

  • yeah, its a pig to play. It sounds nice when played, but is really really hard to play.

Its generally the C3 piece thats the jazzy one. lol. I love ABRSM

  • haha yeh my fingers get tangled in places, but I think because i love it so much, i learned it pretty quickly lol.

  • I meant that jazz one is a pig, although this one isnt much better in places :P

It just wasnt composed for me and my small hands! lol

This is easily my favourite of all my pieces.

  • Wow has anyone chosen B5? (Scherzo: Allegro vivace con delicatezza from D.960, schubert)

  • I really love this piece but I think that was a poor performance......it was too heavy and loud and thumpy.....I think this piece needs to have a dance-like quality and whoever played this didn't make that way

  • its my exam piece im taking grade 7 next year haha its really hard cuz i cant hold the notes zzzz.

  • Comment removed

  • i disagree

Number 1, Bartok spent alot of his time in native Hungary, and a lot of his work is based around Hungarian folk tunes.

Number 2, I consider Bela Bartok a genius because he is able to create tone, while when looking at his music, it seems atonal. If you didn't like Bela Bartok, listen to Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring", then maybe you can appreciate this more

  • i think most of bartoks stuff is pure crap to be honest, it doesn't sound like music because he is concentrating too much on something like a mood or a picture he wants to create, which to be fair he acieves, but it makes the music sound rubbish. However i actually like this piece that he wrote because it is musically pleasing. might sound condescending but, clear?

  • this is aazing! its great to hear a piece by bartok that actually sounds like music!

  • Excuse me?

  • I take it you don't like Bartok. All his pieces sound like Music. You just don't understand him. This kind of criticism in my opinion is inappropriate. It also doesn't particularly help the pianist with his interpretation of this piece. Does it?

  • omggggggggggg

    he iss sooo dreamyyy

    xoxox

  • could've used more dynamics.... it's a bit on the loud side... it's ok

  • not bad...

  • Who is the pianist? Mmm, don't know... In my score It says that this piece should last arround 1min45sec, It sounds a liitle slow for me. But, dispite this, Is a really good version. I wish to hear It a little faster.

  • Well it can really be played the way you understand the piece. But on average its usually played between 2 - 2.15 minutes. Then it would also depend on how much you follow the ritardandos and the accelerandos. I quite liked the tempo he played it at.

    :)

  • You're totally right. But, you know, Bartók was a little bit maniac with tempos. That drove him to put metronomic marks everywhere and also calculate the time his pieces should last. My critic was just because of that.

  • My edition says this:

    1mov "Bagpipers": Allegretto (quarter=86), Allegro (quarter=150), Tempo primo. 1 minute 30 sec.

    2mov "Bear Dance": Moderato (quarter=80). 32 sec.

3mov "Finale": Allegro vivace (quarter=154-148) That variation is because the rallentandi. No indication for the "Sostenuto molto". 1min 45sec.

Very very fast playing, jeje. ¡Peace! Take care. And long live Bartók.

  • what kind of film is that ? why can't we see the face ?
