So glad to see aircraft still using a runway at FBF? Couldn't believe my eyes. Thought they destroyed all the runways. Last time I saw aircraft was on a drill weekend with the Navy Reserve when I watched WWII fighters land for a Memorial Day display. What an awesome sight. Leaves chills. Thanks loads for sharing!

I was sitting in the right seat for this flight. We bring it back to FBF in December, after our last show in North Carolina. We leave to start the show season in Early March. From here we went to Miller Air PArk, in Toms River, then down to McDill AFB in Tampa, Florida.

Yup...took off last month. It does so every year. Reason is that the plane lands at FBF sometime in Oct or early November because the location in NJ has no room to store the plane inside a maintenance hangar. FBF has room in their active hangar and so the 'Spirit' stays there till spring of every year when it goes back to NJ.
