Okay so lets say your candidate overcomes the odds and Ron Paul is President in 2012, then what? Congress and the Senate will suddenly stop selling out to WS? Washington bailed out the banks using the money of the 99% and the 1% and is spending 35% more today than just 3 years ago but conditions for the 99% are worse than ever.

It is way past time to clear out these "occupiers" and clean up that park. That park does NOT belong to a one select group. Nothing in our constitution gives people the right to setup tents and camp out wherever they please. A restriction on setting up tents and overnight camping is well within the law and does not violate our Constitution.

The constitutional rights of these people are NOT being violated.

@9thgate Okay, so why are they not protesting the people who have given them their power? The gov't. Which brings me to OWS' biggest problem: Economic illiteracy. What solutions have they proposed other than more gov't? What does that lead to? More regulations. Anytime the gov't makes more regulations it is incentive for companies to spend money to influence said regulations. Most regulation in this country only deters competition. Don't even bring up the civil rights movement, not comparable.

The majority of representatives, senior and executive staff are bought and paid for with contirbutions and jobs, mainly from WS firms. And nobody is asking for huge increases in government, just that we'd quite like government  to opperate the way it should and properly regulate with genuinely indepenant regulators.
