My mother lost my brother, her first child, to Anencephaly, a disease that's always terminal. If he wasn't born still, he was going to die shortly after. She decided to give birth to him early, so she could at least have a little time with her son before he had to leave.The doctors didn't even have a heart monitor on him, because they didn't want her to hear his heart stop if it happened. He died on his way to meet my mother.
He is in a better place now, as is your daughter. And I hope you know that this isn't goodbye. It's just a temporary separation, and you'll see her again when the time comes. God bless the both of you.

I haven't been able to look at my son's pictures, they're still locked up. My brother took the pictures; my oldest son a pallbearer. It's hard not to fall apart. I know. I wish I didn't know.
Behind the darkness of my closed eyes I will always see him. I won't forget your baby, either. Our babies are only sleeping; they wake up in Heaven & are waiting for us. Just because a ship has sailed beyond our horizon doesn't mean that it's lost at sea & gone forever. It has set sail to Heavenly shores.
I feel your pain. I, 2, am a bereaved mother. What a beloved, precious child; sweet "Baby of Mine." Looking at your baby's pictures I am reminded of my son Brian's funeral; his small hands forever crossed.
