  • michelle malkin can qualify as a dragon lady or better yet, a 666 lady..

  • I remember Daffy Duck getting his face burned by a fire breathing Dragon Lady.

I didn't know what that was about when I was a kid, and I still don't.

  • wheres the eagle lady? lol

  • SMOKE'N

  • LOL. As an Asian American woman, I prefer to be seen as a powerful, mischievous "Dragon Lady" than a submissive weak "Geisha." All in all, I think stereotypes are degrading and shows the ignorance of those who perpetuate them.

  • Dragons, Tigers, Swans, Peacocks, Butterflies and Phoenix ...

    It's the LADY that counts!!!

    But beware of those snakes.

  • I like dragon ladies, what's wrong with hot asian chicks with attitude?

  • I agree...people just like to complain...Dragon Ladies are Super HOT!

  • theres nothing wrong with it

theres something wrong with every guy thinking it. no one wants to be pigenholed bace on their racial background.

  • I've tried to flip things around a bit using humor while preserving the various performances of many actresses & actors through funny re edits of many old films. A good thing to do is to counter something bad through something good ( Romans 12:21, KJV Bible). Also, knowing actuality vs perception is also good too (Matt 12:22-37). Sometimes, when the lights are dim, a form in the dark is a pirate or something spooky. Turn on the light & it's just a lump of old clothes on a rocking chair . :)

  • Oh, yeah. "Dragon Lady" is as bad as being called "Aunt Jamima". Phff!

  • No no. Dragon Lady is to Asians as "Sapphire" is to Black women. Sapphire is a stereotype of the angry black woman who constantly nags and berates her black male counterpart. It depicts that black women have attitude and are really mean.

  • @MrRadaikon And, the problem with this is...? ;) Seriously, all racial and ethnic groups have cultural stereotypes. The question is this: is this the sum of a person's existence? THAT is what is at issue.

  • Very interesting. This reminds me of a piece I saw right here on AlJazeera English's channel about Arabs in Hollywood.

Btw what is this documentry called?

  • @ACTORnSCREENWRITER Sounds like Reel Bad Arabs.

  • Where is this clip from?
