Ummm... Tsubasa isn't a Sequel. It is a cross-over series featuring some of clamps previous works. Like Chobits, CCS, xxxholic, Tokyo Babylon, Ect...

Aaaaack I agree! I'm not sure how the people who made the anime (Beetrain I think or something) would have handled the plot twist in the Acid Tokyo arc and the dramatic shift in theme and tone that accompanied it but they did such a wonderful job with the lighthearted first half of the series! Especially in the music category

Thankfully there are the OVAs that cover these final segments but damn. When I saw the last couple episodes of the anime and thought they were cannon I was just speechless
