The first time I knew this song was from radio. I have been searching this song for a long long time. Oh, so great of you to post it on YouTube! Many Many thanks.
Sudah lama saya mencari lagu ini, karena pada tahun 1963 saya sering main guitar lagu ini, akhirnya ketemu juga, thank to who he has posting this song on You Tube, cause I've been searching so long, a long with the "Thunder Bird" Band from Singapore's song call " You were made for me to love.....yes to love. "....bravo, gracias... YC5BZB [cycdede] 鞠裕強 ヒロシ ツヨウ マリ[ひろし つよう まり].
This song actually has shown up quite a few times in the movies - not just Echoes of the Rainbow 歲月神偷, but also My Name Ain't Suzie 花街时代 (with Pat Ha & Anthony Wong) and Arrest the Restless 蓝江传之反飞组风云 (with Leslie Cheung & Vivian Chow) ...
First saw "Mashed Potato" of Dee Dee sharp, it made me think of "Dancing on the moon" because of the same word then I suddenly clicked. It's the one of my favorite as same as "Sloopy Hang on" oh no, "Hang on sloopy" for those days when I was young. It is very great to hear or listen again. I wanna thank "Zoundcracker" so much.
@nagameii Yeah the opening song of the movie 歲月神偷, the "fish bowl" astronaut and the Fabulous Echoes ! It was such a delightful surprise that I couldn't help singing along, immortal scene.
@nagameii This song reminds me of the little brother in the movie, running around with a fish bowl over his head........love this song and love the movie......
Thanks for posting this song.I clearly remember where I was when I first heard this song, I was at the Lai Yuen beach .You know during the early 60,we do not have T V in our home yet,so going to the beach is the only enterainment for us teenages.VIVA , FABULOUS ECHOES

Pretty darn wonderful. A listing of American dance crazes of the early '60s, with a space-age theme.
The first astronauts got to the moon in 1969, which was probably 6 or 7 years after this was recorded.

This is not the cover (version or band) that I was familiar with. Does anyone know who the other artist was that did this song?
