I know Christ does not owe us anything...He has already given us enough, but I am struggling with how to live life with your failures. I believe that we can do all things through Christ, but I still failed. I will always love Christ and I thank Him for finished work that He accomplished through His blood, I'm just tired of hearing about dreams. Every time I hear about dreams...it opens wounds that will probably never heal and no one is helping.
I believe in Christ. I believe He can do all things. What I struggle with is whether He will help me out or will He choose not to. When I know I have given something all that I could possibly do and then still fail, I am very bothered by that and then I start to compare myself with others. I wish I had never attempted with my dream...I think I am worse today because of it. I love Christ with all my heart and just want to know why I failed when I sincerely tried and now nothing.
I had a dream once and nothing good came from it. I did something and gave it my all and got nothing in return. All I hear from Pastors is that it's struggles that shape us and I'm getting sick of the struggle. Been listening2 Joel Osteen since 2 years - every single day. Must admit I've been so blessed! Recently i was blessed with a 100% free all-inclusive 17 days job/holiday in Nairobi. Was put up in a good hotel. "God has the right connections", as Pastor Osteen puts it.

Joel is a powerful man of God. He relates every espect of God's teaching to our everday life. His teaching is really working because it helps us to correct those espect of our lives that God wants it right. Many examples he gives is inconnection with what God wants us to do. I know Christ does not owe us anything...He has already given us enough, but I am struggling with how to live life with your failures. I believe that we can do all things through Christ, but I still failed. I will always love Christ and I thank Him for finished work that He accomplished through His blood, I'm just tired of hearing about dreams. Every time I hear about dreams...it opens wounds that will probably never heal and no one is helping.

I believe in Christ. I believe He can do all things. What I struggle with is whether He will help me out or will He choose not to. When I know I have given something all that I could possibly do and then still fail, I am very bothered by that and then I start to compare myself with others. I wish I had never attempted with my dream...I think I am worse today because of it. I love Christ with all my heart and just want to know why I failed when I sincerely tried and now nothing.

I had a dream once and nothing good came from it. I did something and gave it my all and got nothing in return. All I hear from Pastors is that it's struggles that shape us and I'm getting sick of the struggle. THe whole thing of faith...faith....faith...I say if I saw a burning bush and the voice of God..I would have no problem going because I would know exactly what He wants me to do. Now my dream was a failure and I can't say anything good came from it. nothing.

Yes, don't trust the critics. Because it seems that Satan is sitting with them, and trashing God's messengers left and right.
I favor Joseph Prince, Joyce Meyer, and Joel Osteen. They give good points on what they say. It's very helpful, and important. I praise God that He chose these people. Because without them, I'd still be a broken mess, and lost beyond repair. And I won't be able to find God they way they shown me.
I'm now healed, and a better person! Thank you GOD! LOVE YOU!

@k0smon Jesus Christ never promised riches, He promises a cross to carry following Him and then eternal life.

@savana906 ::: Jesus may not have, but God did in Psalms 35:27. And how about John 10:10? What is the cross you carry for Jesus? That is a very poetic statement, carry your cross, but what does it mean in real time? You actually have a cross you carry with you? Is it the symbol on your necklace? And I do go for the eternal life part, I am very much looking forward to that.

@k0smon Psalms 35:27 says He is PLEASED with success of His servant, out of the whole bible you took this one small sentence, of which it doesn't actually mean God gives us riches. As for John 10:10, here God is talking about eternal life and NOT about riches or wealth. To pick up a cross & follow Jesus Christ means to live a life that is pleasing to God & not self, letting go of our carnal desires & living a holy life as Jesus Christ taught. Living for the spirit not the flesh cont....

Did you read the rest of John 10 :10 John 10:12 The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it and thats what Joel is doing with his better life now evangelism, Jesus didnt even have a place to lay his head Luke 9:58 Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."
