My Family and I are moving to SC, My Father in law will be working in Columbia and we will need to live near there. Im looking for a friendly safe place to raise my kids. Sumter is looking good. Any advice?

What a great video of Sumter! My husband and I have been stationed here for over 6 years now and we love it here. We love the outdoors so there's always something to do around the area. It's the only town we've been stationed at where we actually feel "at home" and a part of the community unlike other towns where you feel like an outsider. Thanks for sharing the video!

I live in Sumter,SC and I'm currently in 10th grade and i'm a military brat so i've lived in a lot of areas. But Sumter by far has worst education system and as a student i've seen first hand how pathetic and lousy the teachers are in the system. You don't have to believe me but don't say i've never told you so.
