Thank you so much for sharing this! This is so beautiful. I really wish people would just let them be like this, happy and free in their environment instead of brutally capturing them and taken to amusement parks or slaughtering them for their meat. They're such amazing creatures. I recently saw a very eye opening, award winning documentary on their capture called The Cove. I really wish more people would know about it and help to stop the capture of dolphins...

Just got back from my first trip swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas. It was truly magical, serene and beautiful. In this video, it looks like the water is quite deep though, sp how does that impact swimming with them?

i was snorkling in hawaii with my family and a pod of spinner dolphins swam right by me!!! i could hear them under water it was amazing!!

The places where you can swim with dolphins are in no way better than the places that make them do tricks. Paying customers at swim-with-the-dolphin programs wouldn't be happy being in the water with animals that swim away from them, so encounter programs train their dolphins to interact with people. This forced proximity to humans can be very overwhelming to dolphins and, over time, may contribute to a variety of stress-related illnesses.

Dolphins are never aggressive. They are loving and gentle.

@Guilhaz1 - You should be aware that wild dolphins /can/ be aggressive, however it is rare. Just don't try to touch them, chase them or harass them. If you let them swim around you, you should be fine :)

@cfslcarol I know a person doesnt have to worry about sharks when dolphins are around, but do you fear that they will show up, or do you only go in the water when dolphins are around, haha you can tell im afraid of sharks, you can thank the movie jaws for that
