Isn't there a problem in this trick? In the beginning when everyone grabs a pile to choose a card from, the order of which they will choose the pile is random. So at the end of the trick, you are not sure which of the 5 spectator had picked up the pile with the 2 of hearts in the beginning. Therefore the first person that you start reading his mind with might not be the person that chose the 9 of Spade, but the 5th person who had the Jack of Hearts. Then your 1st keycard wont point u to his card

@cloudig That's ok. You just look at the key cards in order. The position that the key card is in it's pile = the position that the selected card is in it's pile. Since the two cards can't be in the same position in the same pile, it's ok.

I tried this on my brother, and it started out really well, until i got to the end. His card was always one above the key card. Can U help?

This is a great trick. It must work with 7 cards too, if you can remember the first 7 or took them that they are easy to remember. The cut at the end will not destroy the magic, cause at the end the remembered cards have all the same number of cards in between, so there can not be 2 of them in the same deck. Without the cut the 2 is at the first place, the 4 at the second and so on, but with it, the 2 will be at some other spot, but no other remembered card is, only the suspector's card.

@cloudig depending on which specator it is. he left an anotation at the end, if the first spectator says their card is in the pile with the 2 of hearts, then that is their card. if the 2nd spectator points at the pile with the 4 of hearts, then that is their card. it's a great trick, watch the video again if you have to :)

This trick doesn't work unless you force the spectators to pick from 2-10 (ex. 1st spectator chooses from pile with 2 of hearts and 2nd spectator chooses from pile with 4 of hearts etc.)

To make guessing their cards even better, you could get them to shuffle the cards in the pile they pointed to, and then take their card out. You memorise the card, like he said, what place the card is in, then magically guess the card then. Or you could wait all this time, then do it altogether, but you have to memorise the cards all at once and it gets tricky.

@iiOINKii I FOUND THE ANSWER!, Okay so after you have stacked the piles up from which the spectators have chosen their card from, lay ur first five cards down. Now here is the IMPORTANT PART, DO NOT PLACE ANOTHER CONSECUTIVE CARD ON TOP OF THE CARD YOU JUST PUT DOWN. Brief statement by mismag at 4:03- 4:09, I don't know why but if you put another card on top of the card you just put down it messes up the trick. HOPE THAT HELPS!
