Taping an ankle can be a lot trickier than you would think. If done right than it gives a lot more support, but if done poorly than than it can even make things worse.

don't do this. tape that small won't help anything. to properly support a sprained ankle you need thicker, stronger tape and pieces must be a applied in a medial to lateral fashion, to slightly stretch the ankle into eversion
