  • coil pack spark plugs

  • First of all change the spark plugs and cables if it keeps doing it take it to pepboys or your dealer so they can chek it with the computer cuz it also may be a misfire cylinder issue

  • I have a 1998 pontiac gp that's while in idle jumps stutters the needle also moves that way..help?

  • mine car is doing the same thing

  • Is it an audi? I have one VW that does the same thing but only when idling, when you rev it up this don't happen...

  • Is this a Yugo? That would explain it.

  • the shaking occurs because of the low rpm

  • My car is doing this too, I changed the coil packs and this started. I might have a bad one out of the box. I can tell it is electrical because the fuel pump tone changes like when I have my blinkers on or something. Might be a bad injector on mine but the fact it started after replacing the coils tells me it is probably a defective new coil.

  • @megatrends PS - tested ohm resistance for my injectors and they were all good and my fuel gauge says I don;t have a leaky injector. My car does this when warmed up a bit which also tells me coil problem.

  • U has a misfiring problem it can b a number of problem, spark plug cable leak, bad coil pack, bad fuel injector etc...

  • i have this problem did u find what it was?

  • @dgaleno2012 read my comments and you'll see what was the issue.

  • Check your distributor

  • Well is gonna be the lungs

  • @johnybarcelona1

What do you mean by that statement?

  • lol dont now

  • valves

  • Bet its a wire does it shake or hesitate when you hit the gas?

  • My Audi A3 has just started doing the same thing.

  • @313timmyb I had a bad coil pack, swapped out the bad one and never again had this happen. I am not sure if a Audi A3 has coil packs but if not,try changing your spark plugs and spark plug wires.

  • I see.....cheap fix ^_^

  • RPM cable need a change..

  • ooh,I see...it was my coil packs,at the time my 2001 Audi A4 was idling ruff

I'm glad you got it fixed and she's running fine now through

  • Okay i had this issue about a week ago, caused sputtering when i accelerated too, it was the spark plug WIRES, cost about 120 for a full set but is is easy to replace, car runs great now though! adn it looks as if we have the same car, i have a 2000 aud a6, 2.8

  • hmm my trans am just started to do this

  • blah my firbird is doing this, dies at stop in drive after a bit, starting to misfire bad somedays

  • probbably you have figured this out. it could also be a dirty throttle body

  • @portycrasher Turns out,it was a bad igntion coil,i took it to my local Audi stealership and had all 4 of the ignition coils replaced for free, being there was a recall on the coils. ^_^
