of course what i say sounds insane but with a bit of reading u really can break through your conditioning. humans have been researched for many years. we are easily trained
This is peanuts compared to how unfairly he was treated by the media. Not only did they not include him nearly as much as the "front runners", but when they did include him they constantly did their best to discredit him. Also, we supporters are more dedicated because he is talking about bringing REAL change to the world. Not just the US. I live in Canada and the US economy has brought ours down with it. If he were president, I'd have much more hope for the future.
Great theory, but the polls were also rigged to put Ron Paul in the "other" category as well.
Check out this video, it is a recording of a republican poll call.
watch?v=VSYiUAaBd1U
He did win a lot of online polls and he did win the republican debates as well when cell phone users and internet users were actively participating in voting.
He continues, "In other words, what we need to know to make democracy work for all Americans is compromised by media institutions deeply embedded in the power structures of society."
Imagine for a moment if Barack Obama got "the Kucinich treatment" from the media, or if Ron Paul had received even half the coverage that Mitt Romney did!
Okay, this was really long but I wanted to offer a few fully-formed ideas. I hope everything is great for you!
Actually, I disagree with most of what you've said. The media gave more airtime to candidates deemed as frontrunners, but this extra attention did not translate into votes. If it had, Giuliani would of stood a chance and McCain never would have managed to clinch the nomination.
Ron Paul got few votes not because of the media, but because he had lots of big ideas with no concrete policies to back it up and therefore was unable to hold his own in policy debates with the other candidates.
Don't forget that Giuliani used a radically different strategy than his Republican peers. He chose to largely forgo campaigning in early small states such as Iowa and New Hampshire, pegging his destiny instead to voters in delegate-rich Florida. As a result, though he received many votes in that state he did not break through and withdrew soon after.
Who knows how the race would have turned out if he had used the conventional strategy?
Yah, but it wasn't that he was just not winning. He had practically no votes at all. All the media attention in the world couldn't make people actually like him.
Bill Moyers addressed the National Conference for Media Reform in 2008. An exerpt:
"The patriarch of your movement warned a generation ago of what was coming. In his magisterial book, Media Monopoly, Ben Bagdikian wrote, quote, 'The result of the overwhelming power of relatively narrow corporate ideologies has been the creation of widely established political and economic illusions with little visible contradictions in the media to which a majority of the people is exclusively exposed.'"...
This group, in Paul's case, consisted of "likely Republican primary voters". These are voters who supported Bush in the 2004 PRIMARY...when he ran unopposed! It's amazing that 5% of THESE people supported Paul!
You can also read about dirty Fox polls which didn't have Paul as a selection, etc. etc. Why target certain candidates?
I agree with them2002's "fly in the ointment" comment. I know this is getting pretty long, but I'd like to let Bill Moyers weigh in.
How could that be fair? Handing Giuliani, Clinton, and a few others more airtime than their peers amplified their leads, solidifying them as the "frontrunners" and channeling the mainstream vote their way. Really, why not give all candidates equal time?
Conveniently, the media never discussed its INITIATION of these positive-feedback chains of events. The media hawked popularity polls using only land-line phones, as you said. Additionally, a very narrow sample group was polled ...
Hey, it's Kiel! Glad that you're posting insightful opinions. Ahh, the Ron Paul thing still puts an ache in my heart! I'd even go as far as to say that some insiders made a priority out of sustaining an appearance of irrelevance for this particular candidate.
At the beginning of the primary cycle, only a few candidates were well-known to the public. The MEDIA - the villain of this story - used the results of early popularity polls to allot time in its televised debates.
PS. I discovered your video series by the one you did about Mr. Wizard (Don Herbert). He was one of my childhood heroes as well. I remember that experiment you recreated. My favorite one is when he used the table and mirrors to make it appear that one of the kids was decapitated yet the head was still alive.
Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are, in my opinion, the only two major party candidates who would've been a real fly in the ointment if they actually became President. Even made it to the convention they would turn some heads! I think the media are a bunch of bought and paid for tools of the elite minority who own this country and they manipulated the facts to help the candidates who are malleable and compromised. It's very frightening actually. I'm still going to vote for Ron Paul no matter what.
Listen to the great Rush Limbaugh on rushlimbaugh dot com and read many of his great opinions. Also, listen to Mark Levin, the Great One on his own website marklevinshow dot com. He has a great show and exposes the Commiecraps every day. He also interviews the fantastic Jonah Goldberg, who wrote the fantastic book LIBERAL FACISM. This great book explains in detail how liberals are ane extension of fasicts from German and Italy. They lie and steal and lie and steal! Damn lieberals!
I think it was Samuel Adams who once said something on the order of "...the freedom of our society depends not on the multitudes, but on a small group of agitated and animated group of men (and women), who never tire in their quest..."
By the way, love the Sabian banner in the background! Gotta love a percussionist. They're (cymbals, for you non-drummers) made in Turkey, I think. I know for sure the US didn't make 'em. We have forgotten how to make anything!
Great vid. Pretty woman too! Your right about the land line the only person I know that still has one is my dad.Of course there's also the fact that the only one's watching the republican debates are republicans who'd sooner eat their own foot than break from the mainstream, traditional, neo-con candidate. Anti Iraq war? Abolish the IRS? End of the drug war? That's the kind of crazy you have to wash down! LOL. Gotta love Stephen Colbert.
That was actually an intriguing video ,if journalists uncovered aspects of the election such as this much earlier , maybe Ron Paul would have gained more momentum ,and had an opportunity to contend.
With all due respect , I think it does, if 'ABC News' or any other national news source ran stories on Ron Paul, sold his message to the people , with ,yes ,' the bias', that his message is actually a potential real answer to America's problems, more people would bridge the gap ,most won't cross, that voting for Ron Paul is not a fringe vote. My basic argument is if the media wanted to , they could increase his vote dramatically, it doesn't compliment most voters out there but they can be swayed
Your theory that Ron Paul is being underpresented is correct. Landline phones are not biased. The people who make those polls are. Once you look at media bias and propaganda you will see how much it influences people's decisions. Watch "Zeitgeist" for more information.
It's the message, he doesn't have to win for his message to succeed. It just needs to be heard (and the research shows the truth of what he is saying) by everyone..and we are trying all we can, people want this guy, look where(and why) he stands on allll the issues, seriously...and tell me someone has a better understanding of, and direction of this country
Corruption is the underlying problem here. That is the only answer for such a wide gap in the polls, and primary results. Ron Paul should be running away with this election. Like Russell Means said "If voting could change anything, it would be illegal"
let's change the system by ignoring polls and focusing solely on ideas. that's what ron paul represents to me. open debate, exchange of ideas. let's not say "who cares" anymore either. the greatest enemy to liberty is the shrug.
Brains and beauty in a single package! I totally agree with your theory. It also made me realize that the official pollsters have the ability to filter their databases to target just the voters they want to talk to. I'm sure Frank Luntz knows all about it.

you'd still look better with a cok shoved in your mouth. ron paul ron paul ron paul... you just join the herd where ever it goes... you should put those big balloons to use rather than running that dirty mouth.
Aye. Lol, if you look at her channel, she has more views on the videos that show a prominent bust. Welcome to the internet dream Rezela. Man's primitive views toward the feminine beauty will never change. But it is visible that you know what power you wield with your glandular assets. Kudos.

I dislike Ron Paul; he wants to create pure free market capitalism. If modern capitalism wasnt bad enough, the last thing we need are lower wages, child labour and no job security or occupational safety. Like the last time the USA had a pure free market.
Ron's views are to keep business out of the government, which is the real problem. Tax dollars should never be used to buoy up an economy, but thats what is happening.
He still believes in basic regulations because the role of government is to protect the public interest...hence some regulations will still exist.
THAT'S A DAMN GOOD THEORY BABY!!!! It is right, and also, to add to it; they are only calling people(over the land-lines) who voted under the republican tent in the last term....so that cuts down the numbers even more. It seems to me that the only reliable source of info is the internet, and he seems to be king on the internet. I just pray that everyone will remember to vote to get him in office. The media is NOT a reliable source of info.
GOOD JOB, I like what you say and the thing about land lines and cells has merit. I like Ron Paul, H e is the only one that makes sence about the war. My oldest son went over there in 06to07,now my brother is going over there. Granted they signed on the dotted line, but you can't teel what was told to us was the truth. Like I said, keep up the good work and God bless. Go AZ. TJK878
lol you're delusional. What's not wrong about Iraq???? More than 500K civilians and counting have been killed, many of them children. We're losing much as well, please tell me what's right about this war?
ONVIANT, You are stupid azs hell. EVERY US soldier dying there or wounded for oil companies is one of us. Some 3000 of us have died. If not for the war 3000 of us would have been safer; you retarded monkey. Go eat a banana.
well it surely is interesting what she has to say but it's better to scroll down the page. She looks too good, too distracting that top and his filling
Jamie, you're smart, and it's true...i've gone on about your boobies a bit. Seriously though, you gotta wear a diff. top when you do these vids so us guys (and girls) can focus on the beauty you display via your eloquence, as opposed us barely hearing you 'cause we're trying to either guess your cup size, or imagine what your nipples look like.
I'm Jewish too, We are both intelligent and political.. I live in NY and i want to date you, how can we make this happen, Jamie? ;) As far as what you said, I give it some creedence. In short though, polls are BS.. just like the Diebold systems are BS. Now back to that dating, I'm serious.. Im a good looking guy too, 6 foot tall, light brown hair, athletic and fit.. blue/green eyes.. 31 years old but look 25.
Shalom! My name is David. Jamie I am going to get to the point. You are too good looking and attractive. I am sure that you make some good points regarding the Presidential election and the Davos Question but your looks are far too distracting. Try to maybe use only head shots or camera stills. If you do that, maybe more people will take you seriuously.
It also explains why the debates have Ron Paul as the winner, because teenagers and college students are more likely to use their text message feature.
So most of the land owners, captialists, etc. vote for anything other than Ron Paul. That's reassuring at the least.
Personally, I don't put much stock in polls when I vote. I do understand that some people like polls. However, I choose a candidate to support based on what they've done (actually done) in the past, and what they aspire to do in the future.
I havn't heard many people say this but I'm quite sure there are many people open to the view that the elderly vote based on the effect of a media garbage feeding frenzy. If our senior citizens were proficient with the computers 95% of the American population would vote Ron Paul.
The polls are skewed and does not reflect the public's opinion. It's not a theory, it's the truth.
95%? lol no way. Ron Paul is very passionate, that's one of the things I admire about him. However, some of his political views are very warped. Abolishing Social Security, abolishing the IRS?? Is he serious? While that may sound good to hear, on paper and in reality it would be an economic nightmare for Americans. No way in hell I want Ron Paul in the White House.
definitely agree and I will go one further. They keep him low in the polls to make him look insignificant to the mainstream media worshipers, thus dropping him further down the line.sad
I'm also shocked, see the vid of RP going to Leno, he had the greatest turnout by far of any celeb on the show in years for example--I agree, Most RP supporters are people more cutting edge, not stuck in the dark ages, and less likely to own landlines. Consequently, the establishment candidates get the tv exposure and consequently, most of the votes from those still stuck in the dark ages.
There are many others who are pissed off at our government, yet these people choose not to vote as well, claiming all politicians are corrupted & operate as one unit...
I am referring to the students who supposedly do not vote. If they now do so, and for Ron Paul, that could be a significant surge in the voting numbers.
Computers are the end we'll never get the truth out of these isolating devices.some where over the rain bow there is the wizzard of oz Dr.Paul can cure our country
I'm sorry Razela, We digressed terribly and I will withdraw from further comment that doesn't regard your point in the video. Thanks for your great work. I've subscribed.
Thanks. I rarely read the comments on this video (after about 100 they end up just repeating). I just thought I'd check up on it, but the organization of the comments makes it difficult to follow. Trust me though, there have been far worse on some of my other videos.
I do agree that the polls have to be skewed in this way. I know that I also know many people with only cell phones, and that cell phones are seldom listed in BOE databases, which is where caller lists are created from (at least in county, district, and state political parties in my experience).Being public information, I'd assume the voter database is where most pollsters get their numbers.
Ron Paul uses reason and logic in his argument. All the other candidates are using the same books they were taught in Political science 101 and since then have done very little for our people. Thanks Ron Paul for your fight for America and it's people (even some ignorant few).
I can't believe people just listen to a tiny bit of what Ron Paul says and think voting for him is a good idea.
He wants to LEAVE OUR WHOLE MONETARY SYSTEM TO PRIVATE INDUSTRY!! Also health care education to private companies!? Sorry, I think our approach to oligarchy and gap between rich and poor has proven how much we cannot leave our well being up to pure capitalism. THEY DON'T CARE about people, only profits!
We'd end up in some horrifying Gibson-esque world in no time.
Your argument only showed the public how little you understand politics coupled with your misguided information. Use concrete materials in your debate and maybe, and i highyly emphasize maybe, someone will take you serious.
Gosh, I thought the thumbs up and down were for appropriateness of a comment, not to show differences of opinion. I am actually an elected officer in a political party; so, I've got more experience than you realize.
I still believe that things like privatizing the police force, as Mr. Paul has expressed a wish to do, are HUGELY flawed ideas. There is not a lot of space here for "concrete materials", so I pointed out Mr. Pauls' own ideas as I have heard him express them in other interviews.
You're in a political party? It's no wonder most americans are living in denial. With your experience, could you maybe doctor a formula that could disprove what Ron Paul suggested? Well, I have a formula that proves it would work. These formulas consist of something called "knowledge." I will post this formula on youtube as I am surprised not to see anyone present this to congress as of yet.
i didnt know abt the landline thing. thks. so he's got 9-10% so far. i wonder what % of the USA population is that "college grad age" demogrphic u mentiond? FOX's censorship would support the anti-Ron conspiracy theory, which if true would validate polling fraud alegations. u know abt DIEBOLD dont u? since 2000 i'm untrusting of US prez election honesty. gravel, paul or kucinich seem the best options IMO. u?
so most young people have a dsl conection to the internet? How about a small poll? how many people reading this under 30 have an internet connection not over a landline? I would like to know how the poll participants are chosen
Interesting theory. The voters will determine the final outcome. Ron Paul supporters predicted that he would be the overwhelming leader after the Iowa Caucuses. The voters showed that that theory was far from close. New Hampshire, so far, shows the same result. If he's going to pose any kind of serious threat to the front runners, he'd better start doing it now. If he fails as miserably in New Hampshire as he did in Iowa, he may as well go home.
the turn out for Republican voters last election was something like 15% only...
So Basically the people being polled are only those [likely] voters who voted in the last election... who are the blind party followers that VOTED BUSH !!!
I think the polls are only conducted on registered republicans. Remind people to register as a republican and vote Ron Paul in the primary. Not all states have the same guidelines about signing up. Call your town hall and find out when you can vote for Ron Paul.
I am from Connecticut and live here now. I own my own home and I do not have a land-line phone. I graduated from Clemson University in 2000 with b.s. civil engineering. I have been a registered republican, for over 10 years. I am voting RON PAUL in the republican primary on February 5th.
I think the lady hits the nail straight on the head. There is an old saying that I believe applies to political polls. "Figures lie and liars figure."
Go Ron Paul. I don't want to feel the shame and despair of having another tainted election. I don't want to hear someone banging on my door in the middle of the night, arresting me, terrorizing my family and seizing my property to silence my dissent.
Anyone familiar with string theory will tell you that an idea that doesn't make observable predictions is worthless. With the primaries less than 2 weeks away, Paul is at 5.8% in Iowa and 7.2% in New Hamphire.
What does your theory predict for the actual outcomes?
I'd say that was some insightful analysis, but I'm only saying that because I've said the same thing for quite awhile.
I think there will be some big surprises in the early primaries, but some very big surprises around Super Tuesday. The Ron Paul Revolution is poised to be the 800 pound gorilla in 2008, and it's long overdue.
Why do you think we are so out spoken? How about RON PAUL has something to say that the other candidates are not saying. Everbody I know is long past college age and we all support RON PAUL GOOGLE or YOUTUBE and read and watch him in action.
I am 48 years old and have never voted before this 2008 election.
Dr. Paul has cured my Apathy.
And I am going to VOTE now.
What if PAUL REVERE said oh well my voice does not count I am only one guy?
WE THE PEOPLE the SILENT MAJORITY must speak up and vote. GOOGLE RON PAUL See what he stands for.
Ron Paul is the only candidate in this race whose integrity can NOT be challenged. He is everything the Republican or Any Party is supposed to represent. Government for the people.
Why would poles be different than common sense and personal sampling might suggest? Consider where the money is. Dr Paul's campaign has more influence than all the others combined. Dr Paul has a powerful message AGAINST the private corporate and banking interests. These guys stand to loose trillions in gov funds. This group controls the media... need one say more? Do your own research on the issues. Go Ron!
Hi Razela, yes I agree with you and it's not only college and recent grads that don't have land line phones. I myself don't have a landline phone and I'm almost 40 y/o. Many of my friends in my age group gave up landline phones as well because... well, it makes no sense to pay for 2 phone services... especially with today's economy.
He may have more than 4%, but probably not more than 10%.
There are various polling methods and the one you mentioned is most often mentioned by Paul supporters.
Ron Paul's support is very, very low among registered republicans. This is why they plead on websites to "register republican!" when all other republican candidates say nothing about doing this.
Ron Paul's support online is hugely overstated. His fans are rabid and loud, but it won't result in votes in huge numbers.
I don't think you're correct on that ronpaul2016. I know several registered Republicans that support Ron Paul. Yes, the plead for registering is because many ppl are coming over to Libertarian reasoning due to it's centrist nature. It's just the NeoCons that think they're real republicans when in reality they're relatively new.. hence "Neo". There are many PaleoConservatives out there too.
You obviously are here just to slander Ron Paul.. get a life.. you're the one who's crazy by your actions. Watch JBS - Overview of America... You'll learn something. Unless you're just too ignorant or you are purporting your own agenda. It's people like you that hate the Constitution. You must be for One World Govt. and financing other wealthy countries. Pathetic.
The Nazis in WWII were funded by the Zionist Rothschild family and Prescott Bush (W's grandfather). Actually they funded both sides. War is profitible is it not? Before you state that I'm anti-semitic, I have some Jewish friends that I respect and there is a difference between average Jewish ppl and Zionists.. don't try to confuse ppl.. there is a Jewish against Zionists movement. Your Zionist friends are the ones funding the wars of the world... it's sick.
Razela: Also a few other points to consider. 1. the Call List is made up of people who voted in the last election. About 8% of the base voted last cycle. 2. They don't take into consideration. a crossovers b Independents c first time voters (18 yr.) d the other 98%! e apathetic first time voters. So the polls mean nothing really.
Hey Razela, I think you're making a really great point. I had thought about some of what you said... but putting it together makes even more sense. However, I also think they maybe only calling people with landlines that were registered as republicans for the last election.... and if that's the case ron paul's number could be huge. I'm in Austin and same thing with stickers and flyers everyone... Anyway, nice video. take care, rufio
I have the same thing in Florida, Ron Paul signs everywhere..but people have even been threatened with Fines if they do not take them down -they are scared to death he'll win. I'm registered Independant, because I haven't found someone worth a vote in 10 years til now. Ron Paul 2008!
I think the Ron Paul supporters are very passionate and I respect that. I know from experience because I have been getting alot of flack from the Ron Paul youtube community after my question on the CNN/Youtube debate. I think he is being ignored and the more he is ignored that is fueling more fire. Mainstream media is ignoring him and the other candidates are singling him out as being a wasted vote. Frankly I am undecided still and something about him makes me wonder
I agree. who still owns land line phones? Well I know my parents do because for some reason they still don't believe in cell phones. So my parents are babyboomer trad, conser, bible thumpers who still haven't yet found out how to use a computer. I'm sure they are swayed by the mainstream media and how their annalist get on there and tell you who won the debate. Ofcourse their idea of who won the debate is the candidate who they agree with most on the issues.
Ron Paul support is everywhere. . . small towns and large cities. . . school campus' like you're at, or small community college. Ron Paul is being supported by everyone. . . he speaks truth, and it's different from the Socialist or Facist sects we have now. Give him a try, and show your boobs please. They're nice.
Ron Paul is the man. The polls are a farce. Your theory has volition, but most of the demographic is not of the demographic you feel?.. This following diatribe is with respect, but at the same time of opposition?. Most placate the diatribe of change just to do so?.. Ron Paul represents a much stronger majority than deemed?..Without sounding conspiratorialist, The new president has already been chosen. "Hillary" The polls are deflated
cont.. but nothing seems to instruct this guy except conspiracy theories, lack of regard for others/selfishness, and his own mental instability. Unfortunately most of his followers I meet seem to reflect the same mental and emotional state he seems to have. I'm surprised the guy doesn't twitch, shake, or seizure while talking from all his whining complaining and negativity. Is it just me or does he not look like Magneto from the Xmen? Sorry but Ron Paul is a COOK.
The fact that historically great (+REAL) republicans like Lincoln made national ammendments for things like the national problem of slavery (which went against the principles of the Declaration) is an example that should instruct Paul in regards to the need to make nationally reaching protections of the unborn by abolishing abortion, the defense of marriage, protection of the elderly, ie the family being the immune system of society..
cont..important and influential in not just the construction of these documents but also the many decisions of how were to relate to each other in the US and w our neighboring countries. Hes an OUT OF CONTEXT wacked Constitutionalist who judges in contradiction to the intent of the constitution, BECAUSE he argues against the principles of the Declaration.
You're right. But also he is not a CFR member, he's the only Republican thats anti-war, and the ONLY candidate that talking about the REAL issues - the Federal Reserve, the North American Union, getting rid of the income tax and IRS.
RP is really the only hope we had. the polls actually can be friggin skewed, can u fathom such a thing?! it is torture to listen to your "normal" tv watching self. you need to wake up to what is going on. i can tell you have intelligence but have been conditioned to the point that u have no clue what truly is going on.

That was actually an intriguing video ,if journalists uncovered aspects of the election such as this much earlier , maybe Ron Paul would have gained more momentum ,and had an opportunity to contend.
quakey987 4 years ago
It doesn't have anything to do with how popular Ron Paul is or how many people are going to vote for him.
Razela 4 years ago

It just needs to be heard (and the research shows the truth of what he is saying) by everyone..and we are trying all we can, people want this guy, look where(and why) he stands on allll the issues, seriously...and tell me someone has a better understanding of, and direction of this country
milliradian 4 years ago
Corruption is the underlying problem here. That is the only answer for such a wide gap in the polls, and primary results. Ron Paul should be running away with this election. Like Russell Means said "If voting could change anything, it would be illegal"
HighHeadJim 4 years ago
let's change the system by ignoring polls and focusing solely on ideas. that's what ron paul represents to me. open debate, exchange of ideas. let's not say "who cares" anymore either. the greatest enemy to liberty is the shrug.

I dislike Ron Paul; he wants to create pure free market capitalism. If modern capitalism wasnt bad enough, the last thing we need are lower wages, child labour and no job security or occupational safety. Like the last time the USA had a pure free market.
patient0Studios 4 years ago

This theory makes a lot of sense.
It also explains why the debates have Ron Paul as the winner, because teenagers and college students are more likely to use their text message feature.
So most of the land owners, captialists, etc. vote for anything other than Ron Paul. That's reassuring at the least.

It's not a theory, it's the truth.
trogusman 4 years ago

Razela 4 years ago
I do agree that the polls have to be skewed in this way. I know that I also know many people with only cell phones, and that cell phones are seldom listed in BOE databases, which is where caller lists are created from (at least in county, district, and state political parties in my experience).Being public information, I'd assume the voter database is where most pollsters get their numbers.
nineof12 4 years ago
Ron Paul uses reason and logic in his argument. All the other candidates are using the same books they were taught in Political science 101 and since then have done very little for our people. Thanks Ron Paul for your fight for America and it's people (even some ignorant few).
trogusman 4 years ago
I can't believe people just listen to a tiny bit of what Ron Paul says and think voting for him is a good idea.
He wants to LEAVE OUR WHOLE MONETARY SYSTEM TO PRIVATE INDUSTRY!! Also health care education to private companies!? Sorry, I think our approach to oligarchy and gap between rich and poor has proven how much we cannot leave our well being up to pure capitalism. THEY DON'T CARE about people, only profits!
We'd end up in some horrifying Gibson-esque world in no time.
nineof12 4 years ago
Your argument only showed the public how little you understand politics coupled with your misguided information. Use concrete materials in your debate and maybe, and i highyly emphasize maybe, someone will take you serious.
trogusman 4 years ago
Gosh, I thought the thumbs up and down were for appropriateness of a comment, not to show differences of opinion. I am actually an elected officer in a political party; so, I've got more experience than you realize.
I still believe that things like privatizing the police force, as Mr. Paul has expressed a wish to do, are HUGELY flawed ideas. There is not a lot of space here for "concrete materials", so I pointed out Mr. Pauls' own ideas as I have heard him express them in other interviews.
nineof12 4 years ago
You're in a political party? It's no wonder most americans are living in denial. With your experience, could you maybe doctor a formula that could disprove what Ron Paul suggested? Well, I have a formula that proves it would work. These formulas consist of something called "knowledge." I will post this formula on youtube as I am surprised not to see anyone present this to congress as of yet.
trogusman 4 years ago

Interesting theory. The voters will determine the final outcome. Ron Paul supporters predicted that he would be the overwhelming leader after the Iowa Caucuses. The voters showed that that theory was far from close. New Hampshire, so far, shows the same result. If he's going to pose any kind of serious threat to the front runners, he'd better start doing it now. If he fails as miserably in New Hampshire as he did in Iowa, he may as well go home.

"another tainted election," "someone banging on my door in the middle of the night, arresting me, terrorizing my family and seizing my property"

When it comes to the seizing of property, democrats do it best, admittedly with the republicans close behind (they call it taxes).
kstompaint 4 years ago
Anyone familiar with string theory will tell you that an idea that doesn't make observable predictions is worthless. With the primaries less than 2 weeks away, Paul is at 5.8% in Iowa and 7.2% in New Hamphire.
What does your theory predict for the actual outcomes?
bphysicsguy 4 years ago
Um, mr physics guy: if we could predict it, then we wouldn't need an election, now, would we?
But maybe you can ask Diebold: they can probably give you the exact numbers for the final race already. :p

Postdictors can fudge their analysis to make the supposed theoretical causes of an event seem more reasonable.

qantmrckr 4 years ago
He may have more than 4%, but probably not more than 10%.
There are various polling methods and the one you mentioned is most often mentioned by Paul supporters.
Ron Paul's support is very, very low among registered republicans. This is why they plead on websites to "register republican!" when all other republican candidates say nothing about doing this.
Ron Paul's support online is hugely overstated. His fans are rabid and loud, but it won't result in votes in huge numbers.
ronpaul2016 4 years ago
I don't think you're correct on that ronpaul2016. I know several registered Republicans that support Ron Paul. Yes, the plead for registering is because many ppl are coming over to Libertarian reasoning due to it's centrist nature. It's just the NeoCons that think they're real republicans when in reality they're relatively new.. hence "Neo". There are many PaleoConservatives out there too.

I thought your question was fantastic.

I agree. who still owns land line phones?
