And just think this concert is taking place during the horrible disco era of the late '70s. At least we had AC/DC to keep us sane. A real piece of R&R history.
Angus makes it seem so crisp and easy to play those heart-wrenching solos and Licks and etc. me a music teacher is just learning wat angus does live and i find it nearly impossible to do all of that and run around stage and have spasms on the ground and all that he does, That' why i have the utmost respect for Angus :)
What can you say about this band-phenomenon... This small crowd of 100 students (who are now well into their 50's or 60's) had the blessing of watching LEGEND Bon Scott and ACDC in what one could describe as an almost private gig.
Is there anyone out there watching this video and was actually there that night??
These guys were fucking machines. And still are. They played 40 minutes non-stop about 7 songs, all of them faster than 150bpm, without even a 5 second break, without a sip of water!
@paris4971 No - I got to see them on the Back in Black tour at the hammersmith apollo - too late - I was too young. But I repeatedly rant at my friends that this is the best rock and roll band in the world. (particularly under Bon). I knew it then and I know it now.
see how different the moshpits were in the 70's. everyone was just rocking and having a good time, these days its violent and rough at gigs about this size. not sure what changed!
@Gibborock1 Yeah Saw this On BBC4 and Fair do's seen AC/DC at Donnington twice but this is Brilliant. LOL me and mate were Live commenting on the Clothing but it's just Epic \m/
This "Rock Goes to College" episode is what got me into AC/DC in the first place. I remember watching it one night with my mouth hanging open the whole time.
Best 29 mins ever recorded by anybody anytime including the moon landing...

Awesome. I remember seeing this episode replayed a while back on BBC4. Even better than a stadium gig any day....
Bon shows Amy Winewhore how to be drunk/stoned and still perform an amazing set..... :-)
