Fans, go find an album called The Bee Gees, The Early Years at Abraxas Records on the web. The original of Claustrophobia and several other hard-to-find Bee Gees is on it.
Claustrophobia may be the closest the Bee Gees ever got to a "Surf-y" sound, since the studio orchestration on the record is reminiscent of Australia's Atlantics and the UK's Shadows -instrumental bands popular at the time. Very cool tune.
