a 4th season has pretty much (lets not say 100% yet though) confirmed by the developers they were waiting for haruhi 2 to finish and now there waiting on all the fmp novels to finish then there gonna make it no idea how many eps though or if this will be the last season lol more news as it comes i guess GO FMP!!!
TSR is my favourite season. I can see why they left it there. (I won't say 'case I spoil it for anyone whose no watched it).
But theres room for character development after all that happened. Even though ADV realesed an OAV one off episode after 2 years of ending the 3rd series.
It still leaves you wondering well shouldn't they at least showed "what happened next?", a sort of Fommofu season with no guns or anything coz I actually quite like all the characters involved in the series.
Its because Full Metal Panic! is based on a series of light novels; like with mangas, they need published material to base the anime on. New novels have been published already so more seasons are likely to be produced :)
