@EbonyLoveAndMarriage sometimes we dont understand that the idea of marriage is great for black people but what you dont realize is with these pictures is that our parents were married back then and our grandparents were married during a time where it was customary to "Get Married" anybody 25 and up already knows that marriage does not fit todays society because people have a tolorence level to hold on to a relationship and make it work. so they get divorced and married again over and over again

@EbonyLoveAndMarriage ok, in 1:19-1:20 and 1:28 you used Claudine, she was on welfare and had five fatherless childern and the guy rupert was who claudine married at the end had three childern form a previous marriage and did not pay child support for any of them. and frankie lymon who is in 1:28 was a serial cheater and was married to three different women at the same time. How are they examples of perfect marriages?

Thank you- we actually eloped last night even though we're still having our large ceremony (as originally planned) in June :D

I had wanted to make a video of us once we had enough pictures but as it stands we only have a handful together and still need to develop our photos from the ceremony yesterday

This video was beautiful and I even found myself rocking to the music (love the 50s, 60s, and 70s). I'm getting married and to see vintage black weddings is a breath of fresh air especially since I want to wear a vintage, 50s style dress. Thank you so much for this. Love is beautiful but there's just something about black love ;)
