thank you! sony vegas 8 has been out for a while so i don't know if it has gone down in price or anything, but there are newer versions available on the sony website. but if you want the older (and probably cheaper) version, it will probably come up on a google search.

thank you! i use Sony Vegas 8 to edit my more recent videos. it is kind of expensive, but if you are looking for something free, i'd suggest Windows Movie Maker - which while being slightly lame in the effects department, was easy to use and a good starting point.
