She sure is holding it like a recorder though. She notices that she is starting to let it down and then holds it up higher. There is no way it would sound even listenable.

Rock concert logistics and technology were very primitive back then, and many members of bands back then would tell you that the vocal mics were *terrible*.  The techs never seemed to get it right!

At first glance, one would notice Paul or John as the standout in the band. I love the two of them, no doubt about it. But the more I watch videos of the Beatles, it's becoming apparent that Ringo is the most endearing one. The way he hits his drum set sends out a very contagious energy. Plus, his smile is genuine. ;-) I wasn't born yet when this band made waves, but i can relate to what they were singing about. The Beatles is indeed a band that knows no generation boundaries. They're endless.
