  • Donohue is a dick. No personal thing here. But he is a dick. Catholic.org. A fallacy.

  • Donohue is a dick. No personal thing here. But he is a dick.

  • FUCK the Catholic church. What a bunch of assholes. They want to control everything, but never will.

  • The atheistMediaBlog here on you tube is very dark and evil. I am full support of Bill!

  • @gotchawiseguy oh I think they are pretty smart and rational unlike Bill DUMBahue.

  • God bless the aborted children, may they not perish

  • lol..."catholic league" as if its some kind of sleek and snazzy modern religion.

  • To REALLY know and expose the worst flaws of the Roman Catholic church - which the media hasn't even discovered yet -, you've got to have known it from THE INSIDE.

To see what I learned as a priest and seminary professor, Google "JesusWouldBeFurious" (one word).

  • Catholics have NO business passing judgment on anyone.

  • Catholics = Pedophiles.

  • 2/24/10: Obama unveiled his plan for health care reform on whitehouse (dot) gov on Monday. Pro-life legislators and advocates said the "new" proposal mostly mirrors the Senate bill and, in particular, would allow for tax dollars to be used to fund health plans that cover abortion...

  • "The health bill passed by the Senate in December (H.R. 3590) had become, by the conclusion of the Senate amendment process, the most expansively pro-abortion bill ever brought to the floor of either house of Congress since Roe v. Wade," Douglas Johnson, legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), said in a statement issued on Monday...

  • Johnson said Obama's bill will not include the same prohibitions set forth in the Stupak amendment--named after Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Michigan)--which was part of the health care legislation passed earlier by the House of Representatives...

  • Instead, Obama's bill allows federal funds to subsidize abortions through the structuring of programs and insurance plans...

  • "If all of the President's changes were made, the resulting legislation would allow direct federal funding of abortion-on-demand through community health centers, would institute federal subsidies for private health plans that cover abortion-on-demand, including some federally administered plans, and would authorize federal mandates that would require even non-subsidized private plans to cover elective abortion," Douglas said.

  • House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said the release of Obama's health care proposal ahead of Thursday's televised discussion among the president, Democrats, and select Republicans could be counterproductive. He also said pro-life legislators are committed to creating legislation that reflects what Americans want in health care reform...

  • "Republicans are also standing with the American people by calling for health care reform to protect human life and not use taxpayer money to fund abortion," Boehner said in a statement. "The Republican bill would codify the Hyde Amendment and prohibit all authorized and appropriated federal funds from being used to pay for abortion, which the President's proposal would allow...

  • Pro-life Democrats in the House have already pledged to vote against this provision," said Boehner. "Health care reform should be an opportunity to protect human life--not end it--and the American people agree."

  • Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, said that with Monday's release of the president's health care plan, he can no longer say it is Congress that is promoting federally funded abortions. "Every time President Obama's spokesmen are asked about the Senate health care bill that authorizes federal funds for abortion, they reply that none of the bills put forth are the president's own," Donohue said...

  • "Moreover, the president has said that he would never sign a health care bill that funds abortion. While it is true that the pro-abortion camp will not be happy with the president for not striking some restrictions it deplores, the fact remains that President Obama could have adopted the pro-life friendly language of the House bill," Donohue said.

  • GO CATHOLIC LEAGUE!!

  • Bill Donahue should shove it, I'm pretty sure that this story turned out to be false, just like Obama wanting to pass a bill that wanted elementary school kids to be taught sex ed.

  • No it didn't turn out to be false. It's perfectly true, which can be easily confirmed. Don't be "pretty sure," find out for yourself by doing some homework before you trash someone unfairly.

  • Bill Donohue is an incredible intellect. You go Bill! Most secular media are filthy bigoted liars. If people don't think so, then they're brain dead. Obama is a liar who says one thing and then does another. Anyone who attacks Bill Donohue is an anti-Christian/anti-faith bigot. With people like Bill Donohue, anti-faith bigots will have no where to hide. Also, 97-99 percent of the priests in this nation have done nothing, same percentage as the general population. Get your facts straight libs ...

  • not necessarily. we just try to show how obvious that basic fundmental moral issues are being abused.

  • Already in place? Then why were babies born alive in hospitals in the lovely state of Illinois allowing babies to die in dark laundry closets???? Where is the protection your claiming they already had?? And BTW, Obama supports infanticide. Do your homework.

  • @Chesehead7 what you you mean their leader Donahue.

Bill Donahue is the catholic League- Seriously the catholic league is like one person with a computer

  • You stole that line about the computer from your fellow bigot Kathy Griffin. Can't you even come up with original intolerance?

  • Controlling peoples sex lives?

What the Church is saying is take RESPONSIBILITY for your actions. If you're not ready to handle the consequences of sex, then don't have sex! Taking responsibility for your choices comes with being an ADULT.

The only people being humiliated are the women now suffering from Post Abortive Syndrome who were sold the lie people such as yourself are selling only to now realise that taking away the right of a voiceless & defenceless child comes with emotional scars

  • If wome wish not to conceive- KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED!

  • You hit the nail on the head! Those catholic dominant icy church prelates want to humiliate people by controlling their sex lives, where the people get nothing of openness in return. I mean not the sex-life of the pope (there is of course none) but more the political things, like decisionmaking, political schemes and such like, also about the past.

  • Controlling peoples sex lives?

  • Donahue does not know what he is talking about. This is simply not true. The baby is already protected under medicaid and the Hippocratic oath. There were other reasons why Obama and MANY others voted against it. Look it up. Donahue is an embarrassment.

  • So what are those other reasons? I'd like to know.

  • Obama justified his vote against the bill, saying its language would have undermined the legal protections for abortion provided by Roe vs. Wade. At the October 15 debate he also defended it, saying, "there was already a law on the books in Illinois that required providing life-saving treatment." Plus, the language of the bill was horrible, and would have caused problems for the mother;s legal rights under Roe vs. Wade.

You could have researched this yourself,it is public record.

  • SkullVodka, NICE TRY.

Barack Obama agreed to an ammendment to the bill which would not compromise the legal ability for a woman to slaughter her unborn child. He then subsequently rejected the bill.

He also promised, ON VIDEO, which you and I can watch that he will sign the Freedom of Choice Act which will render all abortions legal, even at 9 months, for whatever reason.

The man is demonic and is without a conscience. And this is coming from a woman.

  • Make the BUSH TAX CUTS PERMANENT!!

Why should the rich pay more for social programs like education, healthcare, and housing?!?! The middle class are the ones using these services!!!

    McCain 08!!!!

  • Whether a person is Pro Life or Pro Choice should not be the determining factor for your vote in the next election. Focus on the issues that can and will be corrected, not on issues that are used to simply gain grounds in campaign.

  • pink841483...don't you think that without the fundamental right to life there is nothing else? If I, as a human, don't have the right to life to begin with, than what good are all my other rights for? My vote WILL definitely be determined by these issues.

  • donahue makes me ashamed to be a catholic-republican but i firmly agree with him on this topic

  • How sick and twisted can a person be, to have an abortion, and the baby survives** and not even bother to give the baby a chance to live! Lord have Mercy!

  • @jplewis002

    I am pro-abortion. I support Obama.

I also support state-sanctioned abortions, in which any and every fetus found to have illness or any potential for illness should be aborted with financial support from the government, that is, via tax payers support.

As for Christian bigots like you, jump off a cliff.

  • @LogicalFlawDetector The human species should be destroyed before their philosophy of death is carried to other worlds.

  • @jplewis002 What if it was the result of rape? Would abortion be justified then? What if pregnancy would endanger the life of the mother? Would abortion be justified then? Baring in mind the for alot of the pregnancy it's not even a baby! I suspect a huge strawman argument when it comes not not treating babies who have been born, manly because I doubt many good doctors would fail an abortion.

  • @Serpent0fEden I too "detect" a strawman argument and an added plus, a hasty generalization. You have ignored the context of the post, and you have also defined doctors as being "good" if they do not "fail an abortion." So therefore a doctor is not good if (s)he doesn't kill the baby (oh, i'm sorry, the fetus)? In the event that the baby survives the procedure, regardless, it should not be left to die.

  • No... you've got it wrong homeimports... it's Planned Parenthood who's collecting your money... 305 million tax dollars a year... and they call themselves non-profit. Abortion is a very lucrative business.... that's why they don't want anyone to know they're in the business of killing babies... no no no... let's call it instead ...lets see... "termination of unwanted pregnancy"

  • we need more people like Bill Donohue, even if he is a loud yankee =]

  • fuck obama
