Listen to the Goblin album "Zombi". Or any of the John Carpenter soundtracks. The influences are pretty obvious. I love Zombi, but especially because of their integrity. They pay loads of homage to both Goblin and John Carpenter. Ever heard of Tarantula Hawk? They're in the same vein I think.

They're not a Goblin cover band. Thats disrespectful. Goblins great, but Zombi is a band of its own.

I have heard of a few Goblin cover bands, but this group plays original music.
I have only listened to a little bit of Goblin yet, but none of it sounded that similar to this, at least to my ears. Maybe in time, though...

I have heard Tarantula Hawk, but only a little bit, and it was quite a while ago, so I may like them more now.
