for people scared of telling people, I am gay and i was more than terrified of telling my dad about it so much so that at school i had a panic attack and because i kept things bottled up noone knew how i felt. I'm so proud of you guys making this channel. Goes to show, kids, people, men, women, are searching, "googling" hope, & some may be in the closet, but are finding courage to speak out & support other LGBT teens/ adults who need it. I'm 33 now. I wish I had youtube as a resource back when i was a kid, maybe I wouldn't have felt so isolated. To add to those already willing to take a stand, get out... speak up... be heard... fight!

Please, talk to your parents, friends, clergy, a teacher, guidance counselor, heck, contact me, but not this. I look back now and I am so very glad I reached out. Life is too wonderful to cut it short, it really is, even with all the pain.

My advice is to list all of the things that you don't tell them for fear of outing yourself, and try to find ways of talking about those things that don't directly mention that you're dating a lady. I'm a lesbian but I'm not out to my parents. All of my friends because it's not like I have to hide...I'm 22 & I live in California while my entire family lives in Spain so it's not that hard in a way, but it's mostly terrible because I have a wonderful girlfriend & I would love to be able to tell my parents all about her and how excited I am about this relationship but I feel like I can't. My parents are very conservative catholic Spaniards (gay = sinner)..will it ever get easier for me?

for people scared of telling people, I am gay and i was more than terrified of telling my dad about it so much so that at school i had a panic attack and because i kept things bottled up noone knew how i felt. After i left the letter for my dad i hid from the response, i was scared. all i can say is i dont know what i was worried about the next day my dad gave me a hug and asked me why i didn't say it to him, now we get on better than we have ever done, It Gets Better
