Sylvia sounding good here, her voice started to sound tired quite early in her career. She was singing roles like Norma, Lady MacBeth, Turandot, Ernani, too early and her vibrato started to spread badly and her legato lines badly cut short, shame. I certainly like her when she was younger
Marvelous! I actually hadn't heard of Sylvia Sass, but I can see that she was a very talented vocal actress. Specificity is the key -- it's nice to really here Santuzza's fear and vulnerability for once.
