@ZCRD250 Nah, not with 10-15 seconds of redline. You'd need to pin it to the rev limiter for about 10 minutes if you wanted to do any damage. These engines are over-engineered and detuned compared to what they could really do just so guys like this can rev it all day long. :)
Aston Martin needs to make a shorter-stroke, bigger-bore V-12. More revs and more power. Ferrari has that 6.0 from the Enzo with over 100 hp/L in every state of tune. So why not Aston? Imagine a DBS with a big-bore 5.9L V-12 giving 620bhp at 8250 RPM.

Sounds incredible! And I wouldn't worry about revving it against the limiter for 2 reasons...first, it's a limiter which means it's there for a reason and the engineers have determined it's level to be safely below a critical point. Second, many cars have an even lower rev limiter level when in neutral/park (which I'm assuming this car is since the brake lights are not lit). If this driver was cruising along in 1st gear bouncing against the limiter I'd be more concerned.
