  • Great video....

  • Yes, stupid is as stupid does. You see something you clearly don't understand, and instead of asking for an explanation or rationale, you condemn it. Ignorance can be fixed. Stupid is forever. Have a nice forever.

  • Stupid is as stupid does. Shock is for those who know no better. Retriever with bomb-proof recall off leash, out of sight trained with positive reinforcement without choker, prong or e-collar.

  • Continuous shock on a puppy who is doing the right thing, heading back to the handler? Ugh! That's abusive!

  • @yasijenny What, exactly, are your credentials? What positions you to make this expert analysis? If you have a question, ask it. Otherwise enjoy the darkness of ignorance from whence your critique came.

  • No use arguing with agility. She's never felt what an e-collar feels like (And I mean a good one that has levels). She thinks it's a shock, it's not. She thinks the dog is operating out of fear, it's not. And her dogs have low prey drive and will break from chase really easily - well bred hunting dogs dont. It's a different world. go run between some stakes.

  • @REeeEskullface Try as I may to provide insightful and correct information, it still comes back to an old familiar axiom. Ignorance can be fixed, but 'stupid' is forever. Sad. A closed mind cannot grow.

  • @Dawgmanevang it's not a closed mind dude. it's just reality. i have an extremly well trained pudelpointer. but she has a hard time listening to me when ducks are falling from the sky (or at least after i've sent her on a retrieve). and i'm not jackass whistle guy that ruins everyone else's hunt... the nick is pretty critical.

  • @REeeEskullface Is there a point you're trying to make, or something you care to discuss? I'm only too happy to discuss training issues, but it's hard to tell where to go with this., I can help with the lack of control if you're willing to learn.

  • @Dawgmanevang my point addressed a comment you lovingly deleted. That is, when referring to agility's comment, ecollars are not torture, they do not hurt, they do not shock. They are merely a very long check cord or leash (sp). Judging by your videos I bet you agree with me...

  • @REeeEskullface please disregard "addressed a comment you lovingly deleted" as that was a mistake.

  • @REeeEskullface Completely.

  • @Dawgmanevang It's funny how cold technology can be. When I read your comment about how closed minds cannot grow, for some reason, I thought you were referring to me. Now, I read it completely differently. My apologies for getting my dander up.

  • AgilityLover just shut up. Plain and simple you answered the question i was asking. Do they know anything of retriever training? Corgi answered the question. Once you have trained many champion dogs as Evan Graham has then you can run your mouth. The dog sees the heel command as a comfort command they turn off discomfort. I use a SportDog SD-400s which has a higher level of intensity. Did you hear him chuckle when he said this is pressure in an amount so small as to be nearly imperceptible? I s

  • Of course the puppy is flying to you. Hes scared that if he dose anything else he'll get shocked. You say that the pup feels nearly no pain. Are you that pup? Do you have an e-collar around your neck? This is just sad.

  • @AgilityLover94 So you would like to have your dog hit by a car? What would you do if your dog ran after a deer in the woods or something and your recall has never been tested under stress. Guess what your dog is not going to return. Do some research, I use e-collar and I cannot feel a level 1 stim.

  • @ownz0rjoo Well lets see...the recall ive taught all of my dogs & foster dogs have worked under running to the street, after a cat, wanting to jump in the pool, & many other things. Oh & i didnt have to use a damn shock collar to teach them that. And when i went to NC for the summer my corgi & golden both saw 3 deer & started running after them. I called their names & told them to come & guess what? They came right back to me. So dont try & tell me using the ecollar is the best way.
