This video was shot on the day my dad died, April 29, 2007...I live in North Louisiana..but the thing that stuck with me on that day was what a beautiful sunny day it was...and to know that somewhere, down south - this parade was going on, and this band was playing "I'll Fly Away" -thank you for this. Because while this day was sad for me, it was a day of rejoicing for Daddy..because it was the day that he was set free. p.s. Dad watched Ed Bradley on 60 minutes every Sunday..:)
thats the way to go. Have people dancing around and celebrating because he has gone home, to a better place, even though I know sometimes it may be hard to believe it can be better than Nola. :)
